My BMW ix3 would not start after many weeks garaged while we were away. I called BMW Roadside assistance and they had a tow truck there within the hour, however, he was not able to get the car started and it was immobile. They sent another towie, John and he was determined to get the car either started or mobilised into neutral to be able to get it pulled up onto the tray. The car was in a tricky spot and the car could not be pulled straight back. He was not able to complete that day and returned with a colleague, Dylan the next morning. They were exemplary in their professionalism, knowledge and patience to complete the task. It is not straight forward with EVs when they have lost power to the 12 volt battery that charges the dash and starts the car. They persevered with no phone assistance from BMW technicians as they declined to provide any assistance despite having deeper knowledge of the vehicle. Their position is they can only provide assistance once the vehicle has arrived to the workshop. I highly endorse the team at Ballina Tow Trucks for their excellent friendly service.

Damaged my car and are refusing to fix it!!!! 8 months it took to get a no from them, Couldn't possibly recommend them less! Advertised as "professional" and "damage free," and that is exactly opposite of what i got
Update, they've denied all responsibility and have since paid for my own repairs. Poor, poor, poor excuse of a "professional" towing company.
Response: unsubstantiated review? Would love to know your "investigation" processes. I was standing there, watched him drag my front bumper across the ground. Only reason he stopped was because i yelled at him before he ripped the bumper off entirely. Sorry, my eyes are not substantial enough for you. This happened at Ballina Tyre and Auto near the airport. But you're right, i have no clue how my car mysteriously got damaged, i only watched him do it

Just another shifty towing company their aim is to pull as much money as they can from you ! I had a car in their yard was trying to organise transport to move it when I spoke to them couple of times never mentioned there will be storage fee till on pick up day they asked for storage fees to be paid !!
Hi Demir, If your vehicle was towed to our yard from an accident scene, all applicable fees, including storage charges, would have been provided when the tow authority was signed. If you purchased the vehicle through an auction house, the applicable fees and conditions are accepted when placing a bid. These terms are also outlined in the email and invoice issued by the auction house. Sorry to hear you feel they were not clearly communicated.

Honestly couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough. We were on our way to a job in Alstonville with one of our Tweed Valley Water Bores drilling trucks when the truck suddenly lost all its air and gears going up the hill from Ballina. It was raining, nearly 5pm and the timing couldn’t have been worse.
We could hear a major air leak under the truck but couldn’t find the problem and had no idea whether it was going to be a simple repair or a major failure. We called expecting we’d need a heavy haulage tow and were preparing ourselves for a very expensive afternoon.
They came straight out with a serious heavy recovery truck. What impressed me most was that instead of just hooking the truck up and towing us away, he got straight underneath it and tried to solve the problem first. He diagnosed a blown airline at the gearbox, had the fittings and airline joiners needed with him, repaired it on the side of the road and got our air and gears back.
We were back on the road and able to continue to the job. I was genuinely surprised by how reasonable the bill was considering the immediate response, the truck and equipment they sent, and the fact they actually fixed the problem.
If you’re broken down and hesitant to call a heavy towing company because you’re worried about the cost, don’t be afraid to call these guys. Genuine, honest people who actually tried to get us going rather than turn it into an expensive tow.
They absolutely saved our day. Five stars from us at Tweed Valley Water Bores.

Very disappointed with my experience with Ballina Tow Trucks. I was concerned about the driving of one of their drivers and contacted the owner to report what happened. Instead of listening to my concerns, I felt I was spoken to rudely over the phone. Based on my experience, I would recommend JP Auto, as I have found them to be more professional.

We take all complaints and safety-related matters seriously and have conducted a thorough review of the incident. This included consultation with our driver and passenger who were present at the time, as well as a review of the available camera footage.
The footage shows your vehicle, NSW Taxi Registration TC1160, overtaking on the inside of a truck while it was in the process of turning. It also shows you pulling over, extending your arm from the window, shaking a clenched fist, and making an offensive hand gesture. Very inappropriate behaviour by a Taxi Driver while on duty. Similar behaviour was observed again at the following roundabout.
As noted in your review, there will always be haters.
In addition, the phone call received by our office, during which threats and intimidating language were allegedly used, was treated with the utmost seriousness and contributed to our response.
Based on the evidence reviewed, we have found no fault on the part of our driver.
We encourage all road users to remain respectful and composed in challenging traffic situations to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on the road.

Wow.. Broke down on the M1 just outside Ballina at 4pm on a Friday was not fun at all. However Ashleigh from Ballina Tow Trucks seen us struggling and offered to organise a tow for our 4wd and take our camper to where we were staying in Ballina for the weekend and get the car back to Brisbane Monday. Nothing was a hassle, incredibly fast friendly service and on top Ashleigh and Paul entertained our 4 year old as well. Would highly recommend, we were very lucky they spotted us! thank you.

I had the misfortune of breaking down in Ballina. Not knowing when my car would be towed, I left it secured for when your driver could come and pick it up. Next morning I was advised my car had been delivered to the right address and locked for safety. I'd like sincerely thank the "phantom" tow truck driver (I never got to meet you) for delivering my car safely to it's destination.

I had my car towed quite a distance! I dealt with Adrian and my driver was John. He was able to give me sound advice and arrived promptly to tow my car to my mechanic. Drove it safely and I was informed of progress from when he picked it up till he dropped it off and I got a photo.. really appreciated the excellent service Ballina Tow Trucks… thanks
