Gabby and Yaya taught us so much about making paella, the origins and amazing tips and tricks along the way. It became the best paella we had on our trip to Barcelona and it was a great way to get to shop at the Boqueria Market. We can’t wait to recreate the paella at home and remember this fantastic experience. Highly recommend taking part in this class.
My husband and I took the Paella class with Yaya during our honeymoon trip and we had so much fun! It was such a unique thing to experience, going to the boqueria market and getting fresh seafood from one of the local vendors while learning some historical facts sprinkled throughout. The class is a very hands-on experience, so expect opportunities to handle everything! It’s part of the fun. We also learned facts about food preparation which was helpful to know. I also mentioned to Yaya that I discovered recently that I have a mild allergy to mussels, and he discretely accommodated me by carefully keeping the mussels separated! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I didn’t get sick, so overall, it was a success! Would highly recommend this class to others :)
We had a private class with Hugo and it was fantastic. His passion for cooking really shines through, and he teaches in such a friendly, down‑to‑earth way that everything feels easy and fun. The time flew by, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was even better. Thank you Hugo! 🙌
