Andres was amusing and made the cooking class fun! He is knowledgeable and professional and taught us how to choose fresh seafood and prepare it for cooking with vegetables and rice. It was fun to share a large skillet to cook with a group and also learn how to make sangria. Cheers to Andres and the Gastronomic Arts of Barcelona!
We booked the paella and sangria making class to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona!
It was such a fun experience for our group, which included my mom, her friend, my husband and me, and even our daughter. The atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the instructors made everyone feel comfortable, whether you had cooking experience or not.
We loved learning the techniques behind making authentic paella and sangria, and it was so rewarding to enjoy the delicious meal we created together afterward. It was the perfect mix of hands-on cooking, local culture, great conversation, and lots of laughs.
We also really enjoyed meeting the other people in the class. It made the experience feel even more memorable and added to the fun, communal atmosphere.

Amazing experience and loved by all the members in our group. This is a great excursion if you are on a cruise. It's just long enough and I assure you it is quite memorable. The host is engaging and informative. The class has a nice pace and the meal you prepare is outstanding. You won't regret booking this!

I highly recommend this event. Our guide, Alberto, was amazing. He took us to the market to buy the fresh seafood and gave us some details about the market. When we got back to the GAB LAB we were given some sangria and tapas. Making the paella was the best experience and it turned out delicious! Don’t miss this!!!!

Great tour for a foodie!
Great tour. We have done many culinary tours and this is, by far, one of the best. Hugo, the chef, and his assistant, Kim, were phenomenal. Food was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys cooking and great food.
