We did an open water diving course (2 pool sessions and 4 ocean dives) and it was a highlight of our holiday. The team at the dive center is a very funny, yet completely professional bunch and makes you feel secure and cozy at all times. Our instructor was Diogo and he was great but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Cheers to Jan, one of the dive instructors, fellow Slovak who was very helpful to us during the whole course. I don’t have a single negative comment. Highly recommended! Thank you.

The people that run Azores Sub are top-notch. My group had several people needing to finish certifications and they went above and beyond to help finish them out and took great care of the whole group on several excursions. A special thanks to Jan who was both my instructor and guide. You can't go wrong with any of them but I loved working with Jan!

Amazing diving experience in Vila Franca on the Azores! The whole team was very professional and made us feel safe and well taken care of at all times. The groups were small (only 3–4 divers), which made the dives even more enjoyable. We saw 2 octopuses, 3 big lobsters, and lots of fish. Jan was a great dive master, and the entire team was super friendly and cool. Highly recommended!

Great local dive experience I had a great time diving on Ilheu de Vila Franca. The dive center was very well equipped and well organized. I had a great dive instructor, and he led a fantastic dive where we saw tons of local sea life. The location was a quick boat ride from the center and took 2 hours for a single dive. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see the sealife while visiting the Azores

We saw so many beautiful schools of fish! I was worried I would be cold, and I am not a great snorkeler, but the wet suits kept us warm and I felt safe and taken care of. A highlight of our trip for sure. I would highly recommend Azores Sub!

We loved this dive center! My partner did his advanced open water here and I did some fun dives in the meanwhile. We did the dives with Ivo and he was an amazing instructor! The explanations were really clear and we feel like we learnt a lot.
