Excellent Private Tour
I booked a private Golden Circle South Coast Tour for a day. Margret arrived at my hotel on time and took me for the full day tour in her new and comfortable Land Rover. She was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also provided good insights and suggestions. I prefer to travel on my own pace and she was respectful of it. Since we were ahead of schedule, she volunteered to make an additional stop for me to see the Solheima glacier - which was a very pleasant surprise. I would definitely book with Absorb Iceland again when I return to this beautiful country!
I cannot say enough positive thing about my private tour day with Margret at Absorb Iceland. I told her I was most interested in being in the energy of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. And particularly the glacier of the same name said to be a particularly powerful energy vortex. She created a day that I will remember for the rest of my life! We visited a tucked away sacred spring dedicated to Mary where unlike anywhere else I have been outside of Iceland you can drink the water right from the spring. Just when I thought we had seen all we could in our time I was so delighted when she suddenly turned off the main road for our “behind the scenes” of the glacier on an off road path. Suffice it to say Margret attuned to my needs and maybe even threw in a little weather witching for the sun to peak out at just the right times!! I didn’t have to pay extra for the rainbows that bookended the day LOL. I can’t wait to come back and discover more of this powerful place with Absorb Iceland!!

Make sure to visit the Silver Circle, not just the Golden Circle.
Lovely day with guide Margaret to experience the Silver Circle. Beautiful, new, comfortable large van. Helpful history and orientation to the sites… as well as her help to choose some Icelandic candy. She found us a fun, quirky, casual lunch spot (a hot dog in a hot house) that felt very unique.
The company is run by a husband and wife, and they’re very knowledgeable about the area. We customized a northern lights night hike, and Margret made the tour flexible so that we would go on the night with the most activity and clearest skies. We saw the lights right at the end of the hike, over the mountains. Kiddi, our guide, even drove us to the hot dog stand on the way back to the hotel for a bite to eat!
