A tour company that can be trusted to deliver great adventures Muscat can serve as a base for exploring this part of Oman using day tours but many hours would be wasted driving back and forth. A better value for a couple is to allow Karen to interact and put together exactly the multi-day tour you desire. The 4x4 Landcruiser [required on several roads and in the desert dunes] was comfortable. Excellent communication by email but Whatsapp seems to be the preferred choice. Khalid. Alraqadi, our driver. was everything you could ask for: knowledgeable, friendly, adaptable, resourceful [we happened to be here during severe flooding]. And a good videographer. It would be worth asking for Khalid by name if he is available.

Thanks to Ahmed who took the time to explain all of the historical context around Nizwa and he also showed us where to buy the best Halwa in the place. This is more than sightseeing, this is about learning the history of Oman and the legacy of the Sultan. Clean air-conditioned vehicle, on time and excellent English means I highly recommend this your.

Travelling from UAE to Oman but land From the time Khalid picked us up from Sharjah he was very accommodating answering all our questions we have regarding Oman entry. Great We had a fantastic experience with Star Tours Oman, especially with our guide Fauzi. From the very beginning he was incredibly friendly, positive and highly motivated. Throughout the day he shared a lot about Omani culture and food, which made the whole tour very interesting and enjoyable. During Ramadan he even shared his iftar with us, which was a very kind gesture and something we never forget. Our first stop was Wadi Bani Khalid, which was absolutely beautiful. The water was crystal clear and pleasantly warm, and the scenery was simply stunning. Afterwards we drove into the desert dunes, which was a lot of fun. At one point we even had a spontaneous long-jump competition in the sand dunes, and I have to admit that Fauzi completely beat me – it was great fun and we laughed a lot. Fauzi is a wonderful guide: very knowledgeable, interested, and with a great sense of humor. He made the entire day relaxed, enjoyable and memorable. I can highly recommend Star Tours Oman, and especially Fauzi as a guide.
