Our guide, David, gave a thoroughly entertaining and informative presentation of the lives of the people who lived here. The cave has been thoughtfully restored and gives a vivid picture of what it was like to survive the isolation of this harsh environment. Fascinating and unique site! We learned something and had fun. Glad we visited.

Small place with a very cool backstory. Be adventurous and try the hákarl (unlike me). Quick stop that's easy to add into an already busy day on the Golden circle. Guide was fantastic (thank you Asia)!

I highly recommend this tour and our tour guide a French man , he was incredible he throughly explained everything to us , made it fun and interesting. He also answered any questions accurately and effectively, 100% recommend him !
