Booked Robin, Received a Different Guide.
We booked Robin specifically because of his reviews, but the night before our tour he contacted us to say he had experienced a medical emergency and would be unable to guide us. To his credit, he did offer us the option to cancel or continue with a replacement. His replacement was "his partner" who he raved about. Since we were on a cruise and only had one day in port, rescheduling wasn't really possible, so we continued with the replacement guide and his partner Guy. Guy was knowledgeable and took us to all of the places we had requested. He also stayed beyond the scheduled tour time to take us to a wine shop after we mentioned we planned to take a taxi back to port, which we appreciated. One thing that surprised us was the transportation style. Rather than dropping us off near the sites and meeting us after parking the vehicle, we typically parked in parking garages and walked some distance to and from each location. This may simply be the normal practice in the area, but it was different from our experiences with private guides elsewhere. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of engagement with our family. We found him to be very reserved and not particularly personable. Throughout the approximately eight hours we spent together, there was virtually no conversation beyond providing information about the sites. He never asked where we were from, how our trip had been, or engaged in any of the small talk that typically helps make a private tour feel personal. He never asked our children's names and never spoke directly to our younger child at all. Because of the limited interaction, the experience felt more transactional than welcoming. Families looking for a warm, interactive experience may prefer a guide whose style is more engaging. I think Guy would probably be a better fit for adults who primarily want transportation and information. Families with children looking for a warm, interactive guide may want to look elsewhere.

Unforgettable food, sites, drive, and memories to last forever.
This excursion was amazing! Highly recommend Robin for a personal tour of the Riviera. He was very patient and kind to our elderly family member that was in a wheelchair. He took us to a local flower and spice market in Nice. He let us taste the food at the market that was locally made by vendors in the market. He was never in a hurry or rushed us. 5 STAR all the way w/ this tour and with Robin.

It was an absolutely amazing experience! The service was top-notch, highly professional, and everything went incredibly smoothly. The team was extremely punctual, helpful, and paid attention to every single detail. I am thoroughly satisfied and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality service. Will definitely choose them again!
Very good experience.
Robin from Nice Immersion took us (two people) on a fantastic tour or the beautiful area surrounding Nice including Antibes, St. Paul de Vence, Villefranche-sur-mer and more. We met and decided on what we wanted and he advised us on the plusses and minuses of our choices and we ended up with a wonderful tour in the time frame we wanted. Robin not only showed us around but explained the history of the walled cities and the importance of each site we visited. We walked around as he advised, visited a couple of museums and visited the lovely food and flower market. Robin was a careful, thoughtful and knowledgable guide who has been doing this for many years. No Google-maps, no GPS, just his knowledge of the area. I recommend Robin and the company to anyone, any age.
We had a day tour with Robin it was fantastic. He communicated prior to the tour as needed and we told him we were arriving by tender from a cruise ship. He met us at the terminal and took us to see the highlights of the area. We went for an authentic lunch and he got us back to the port in plenty of time. I can recommend this tour. His driving was good, his spoken English was excellent and his local knowledge topped it all.
The French Riviera from Nice
Had the most amazing experience on this tour. First of all Robin knows the history very well and secondly he was so friendly and passionate about his job. Which made the experience so much more special. The places you visit on this tour are amazing. Highly recommended. Thank you Robin
Amazing day in Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze with Robin as our guide! Our tour began and ended in Nice (where Robin lives) so it was lovely to get his perspective on that city, as well. He was able to navigate the traffic, pedestrians and parking garages with ease (!) all the while giving us the history of the area! We were a group of 8 and there were 2 kids (ages 8 and 11) so he tailored his facts and tidbits to all of us. He did not rush us and gave us a little bit of free time in each town, which I really appreciated. He gave a nice blend of history, culture, lifestyle, and current events. It was a perfect day and I did not want it to end. Highly recommend!
1000% Recommended Look no further for a "Nissa" guide
I am French but my knowlegde of south of France remains limited. Robin, the local born Guide, gave us a real immersion into the dense history of Nice and Provence. A nice and genuine person, 100% proud Niçois sharing his love for his Region. Bref, n'hesitez pas a le contacter, highly recommended.Robin is also launching a nice "formule" that could be very interesting to make the most of your time in Provence, check out his website Niceimmersion.com.

Fantastic tour of the French Riviera
Robin was an amazing tour guide for the 6 of us from the cruise ship! He made our tour very personel since Monaco was not an option due to Grand Prix. His knowledge and expertise of the region was so special...I would highly recommend him for any. tour of this area. I took over 250 pictures that day...and was able to sit in the front seat with him so I was shooting photos everywhere I could. Our stops and sights made for a very memorable and breath taking experience of the French Riviera. Our co-attendees said it was the "best tour they ever had, and I would agree 200%" Thanks Robin- P.S. where is our group photo you were going to post of the 7 of us?
