What customers say about Geothermal Exhibition
Recent reviews
A fantastic exhibit that helped us to fully understand the way that geothermal power is being used in everyday life in Iceland. The building itself was beautiful and there was an option to view the electricity-generating turbines. We also really enjoyed the education on carbon fixation and the breakthroughs that have happened here at this power plant.
Very informative. Loads of information on the app. Staff at the front desk were very polite and answered any additional questions.

We visited the Hellisheidi thermal plant as part of a day trip tour around the Golden Circle! Once we entered, we were given a brief explanation by a staff presenter regarding how the plant worked. We also had some free time to explore the exhibits that broke down the process of how geothermal is harnessed and used as an energy source.

Amazing experience
After 10 days passed discovering the mighty power of nature in Iceland it was great to see how it's possible to use that power to secure hot water, heating, pools and other facilities to the people of Iceland. Withou pollution. Super interesting and very clear exhibition.

Thank you for your review! We're sorry to hear you didn't fully enjoy your visit - the Geothermal Exhibition is not a museum, we are a private exhibition specifically designed for public outreach for the energy companies we represent :)
Our main goals are to share information about how geothermal energy is produced and distributed, and about the projects happening in the area, including Carbfix and IDDP.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Iceland!

Geothermal Exhibition
Fabulous. Learned how Iceland uses their natural geothermal resources for energy, and reclaims the steam so it can be used again. Nice, educated people and the exhibit is well set up.
