Our foodie tour with Victor was sensational. Having just relocated to Madrid from Australia we were eager to learn from a local and Victor was amazing in sharing his knowledge and taking us to some hidden gems. The experience felt like a long lunch with an old friend. We will do another tour for sure!

One of the best experiences I’ve had in Madrid — and I say that without hesitation. Our tour guide Victor was exceptional: knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely invested in sharing the city’s food culture beyond the obvious tourist spots. He took us to places where locals actually eat, which made all the difference. Every stop felt authentic, and the food quality was outstanding across the board. You could tell these weren’t venues chosen for convenience — they were chosen with care. For the depth of experience you get, the price is absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting Madrid and want to understand the city through its food, this tour is the one to do. Highly recommend.

First good tour I came across when searching and so glad it was the first one I saw! We had an amazing evening with Victor, exploring a completely different area than we were staying in and had such a laugh with him as it ended up being a private tour!! Would highly reccomend

Victor from Flavours of Madrid gave us an unforgettable evening wandering through Chamberí, one of those neighborhoods that feels refreshingly untouched by tourist crowds. What set this experience apart was how genuinely personalized it felt... This wasn't a rehearsed script but a real conversation with someone who clearly loves his city. Victor walked us through the history and architecture of the neighborhood between stops, giving context that made every bite more meaningful. We weren't just eating; we were understanding why these dishes matter here. The food itself was extraordinary. We worked our way through plates of tender pulpo, briny mussels and sardines, and a tortilla that reminded us why the simple ones are often the best. The lomo and Jamón Ibérico were standouts, and we washed it all down with Spanish wine and vermut at spots we never would have found on our own. And the patatas bravas? Easily the best we had in all of Madrid! Crispy, saucy, and absolutely worth the trip to Chamberí alone. We also want to highlight how thoughtful Victor was with our group. One of us is pregnant, and without missing a beat, he offered NA drink options and alternative dishes at every stop. It's that kind of attentiveness that elevates a good tour into a great one. The Best food tour I’ve been on! Víctor’s local knowledge took us to places I never would have tried on my own visiting Madrid. The quality of the food was “chefs kiss”. We got to try a large variety of local Spanish dishes that Victor also shared lots of information about, I feel like I am going home as an expert on Spanish food. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid!
