Une expérience souterraine incroyable à 230m de profondeur !
Nous avons adoré notre visite de la mine de sel gemme de Loulé !
C’est assez fou de se dire que tout cela se passe juste sous nos pieds alors qu'on se promène en ville.
J'y étais avec ma fille de 11 ans et c'est une activité parfaite pour cet âge. C'est à la fois impressionnant et très instructif.
Un immense merci à Américo, guide bénévole français, qui était tout simplement génial. Ses explications étaient complètes, captivantes et pleines de passion.
On apprend tout sur l'histoire de la mine, les techniques d'extraction d'autrefois, le fonctionnement actuel et les projets futurs pour ces tunnels immenses. On découvre aussi les multiples utilisations du sel.
La descente à 230 mètres de profondeur est un moment fort ! L'ascenseur est d'origine ; cela peut être un peu impressionnant pour certains, mais c'est une expérience authentique à ne pas manquer.
Les formations de sel (stalactites) sont magnifiques et le réseau de galeries est vaste.
Nous sommes prêts à revenir pour voir l'évolution des aménagements et, pourquoi pas, avoir la chance d'assister à un concert dans ce cadre acoustique unique !
N'hésitez pas une seconde, c'est l'une des visites les plus originales de l'Algarve....

Die Führung dauert etwa 90 Minuten und es wird einem viel erklärt.
Es ist schon beeindruckend wie groß die "Tunnel" alle sind und was die Größe der gesamten Mine betrifft, auch ein Besuch des Museums, das sich im Inneren befindet, ist ein Besuch wert, auch wenn es nicht so beeindruckend wie die eigentliche Mine ist.
Een unieke ervaring, 230 meter met een gammel liftje en daarna loop je door de mijn gangen. Engelstalige gids legt alles goed uit. Jammer dat je boven geen horeca hebt.
Really nice experience, they should make salt lamps and more products in the store. Also the echo is amazing down, I would add a Pink Floyd sound demonstrating with the big speaker they got there 😊

Beautiful Mines And Great Guides
When we arrived, we got geared up before heading down to the mines in an elevator. Our guide did a great job explaining the mines. She told us all about how they used to use explosives before switching to machines. We learned about how they had to disassemble them, bring them down the lift, and reassemble them. We even got to see the new and old machines. You're allowed to bring home the beautiful salt rocks and the finer salt. Learning all about the mines was great, and the salt stalagmites and beautiful walls made it 10 times better. As I mentioned, the guide was really great and knowledgeable about the mines. Would DEFINITELY recommend 👌
Deze week met 4 volwassenen een tour door de zoutmijnen gemaakt onder fantastische begeleiding van onze gids Adriana.
Zij nam uitgebreid de tijd om al haar kennis met ons te delen, gaf ruimte om al onze vragen vakkundig te beantwoorden in perfect engels.
Deze tour door de unieke zoutmijn is zeker aan te bevelen.Wij hadden genoten!!!!

Didnt know what to expect. Blown away by the scale of the mines, 45km of them!Only 10 miners now producing 6/7000 tonnes pa, mainly in winter ( as this is not white, edible salt but for roads). The massive kit used has to be deconstructed, fed down the shafts, and reconstructed at tge bottom. ( took five months for tge main Scraper!). Just amazing. .

Visiting the Salt Mines was a fabulous experience. You go 230 metres down in a rickety lift which takes 3 minutes to reach the bottom. Our guide was brilliant, spoke excellent English and told us lots of interesting facts. The tour lasts about 2 hours. I would suggest the company has a tip jar as it really did warrant leaving a tip, but we were unable to do so.Highly recommend this fantastic trip.
Eine echt authentische Bergwerkführung!!! Die Fahrt mit dem historisch anmutendem Aufzug ist echt was besonderes. Die Tour im Bergwerk wurde sehr unkompliziert gestaltet und war sehr informativ. Sehr sympathisch und perfekt englisch sprechende Führerin! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen👌
An incredible great tour. Portuguese guide very good in English and really informative. Total tour time from going down to going up about 2 hours. Lifts are for max 6people and very very small. Down in the mine its spacious enough. Temperature is 23c constant. It is still an active mine which makes it even more interesting to see how rocksalt is processed. Open to the public since 2019. On site free parking available.
למזלנו הגדול היה מקום פנוי דווקא ביום גשום, ולא יכולנו לבקש חוויה טובה מזו. כבר מהרגע הראשון הורגשה אווירה נינוחה, רגועה ומאוד נעימה מצד הצוות שקיבל אותנו בחיוך וגרם לנו להרגיש בידיים טובות.
הירידה למכרה, לעומק של 230 מטר מתחת לאדמה, הייתה פשוט משגעת ומרגשת. עצם ההבנה שאתה יורד כל כך עמוק לתוך האדמה יוצרת תחושת התרגשות וציפייה, והחוויה רק הולכת ומעמיקה ככל שמתקדמים.
בתוך המערה קיבלנו הדרכה סופר מעניינת, קלילה, מקצועית וברורה. ההסברים על ההיסטוריה של המכרה, תהליך כריית המלח, השיטות, והסיפורים הקטנים שמאחורי הקלעים – כולם הועברו בצורה נגישה ומהנה.
המדריכה שלנו הייתה הכי הכי בעולם: מקצועית, נעימה, סבלנית, עם אנרגיה מצוינת ויכולת להסביר גם למבוגרים וגם לילדים בצורה מרתקת.
במהלך הסיור טעמנו מלח, צפינו בסרטונים, ראינו את הפעילות בזמן אמת, וקיבלנו הצצה אמיתית לעולם שלא נתקלים בו ביומיום. הכול הרגיש מאורגן, בטוח ומאוד מעניין, ויצאנו מהמערה מרוצים במיוחד.
החוויה מתאימה לכל גיל – אנחנו היינו עם ילדים בגילאי 11 עד 15, וכולם נהנו, הקשיבו, שאלו שאלות ויצאו עם חיוך וידע חדש.
לסיכום:
מדובר בחוויה מיוחדת, שונה ומעשירה. שווה בהחלט להשקיע ולהגיע למקום – 5 כוכבים בלי לחשוב פעמיים.
