This was the best catered chalet experience we could have ever imagined. The chalet was a perfect size for our group of 8 - it was cosy, clean and inviting. Our hosts were the most attentive and sweetest ladies, who made us feel at home. Their cooking was excellent, and there was generous amount of beverages available too! The skiing was arranged brilliantly via a nearby ski equipment hire centre. Jay looked after us well and was so helpful at pointing out the key locations in Bansko. I would absolutely love to go back!

Fantastic Snow, Chalet and Hosts
Superb chalet. Owners are really attentive, communicative and thoughtful, always going the extra mile with requests. Snow was great even though we were there for the last week of the season. the bottom part of the resort was shut, but in some ways this feels like blessing as the numbers of people on the slopes are really low, and so it has this kind of perfect crowd-less, sunny, spring vibe, and we were just lucky with really quite a lot of snow. The chalet hosts Danny and Anija are so lovely, it is our second time here and we and the kids love them, their cooking and their attention to detail, they are real treasures and do keep coming back to this chalet so I would recommend requesting them. AS my kids get better and mature in terms of their skiing, one thing to consider is that the resort is a little smaller than some of the alpine mega ski areas, this is not a big deal for me, even though I quite like to be challenged. I think the lessons and ski. hire are good value and so would particularly recommend the resort for people and families who want lessons. The numbers of people in the lessons (probably related to spring season) were low, so the lessons felt like private lessons tbh.

Second stay in Chalet Jora. We stayed the last week of the season and were fortunate to have fresh snow. Once again Laura’s organisation was excellent with rapid and helpful responses. There was flexibility with different groups arriving at different times due to flight changes. As before, this is a comfy chalet with excellent catering, friendly staff and a beautiful resort. I’d recommend wholeheartedly!

Fantastic second visit!
This is the second time we’ve stayed at Chalet Jora and it was just as good. Laura is really helpful pre-visit with organising transfers, lessons, equipment etc. Jay was so helpful throughout our stay- he came every day to light the fire, answer questions, helped when one of the group hurt their wrist. The chalet itself is really comfortable and the hosts Danny and Anya were one of the highlights- amazing food, so helpful and very entertaining! The tokens for a free spa visit are a great addition, which both adults and kids enjoyed. And a great week of skiing too :-) We would love to return for a third time!

stay at Chalet Jora
Another brilliant week of skiing. We stayed at Chalet Jora for the second year in a row and were lucky enough to have the same amazing hosts Danny and Anya. They looked after us so well with delicious breakfasts, afternoon cake and three course dinners almost every day. They are also super fun and have great sense s of humour. Jay was super kind too and always available to help or answer questions and we felt so spoilt to come back to a lit fire each day. The chalet is beautiful and the views from the upstairs landing are lovely. Even though it was the last week of the season, we had great snow. The chalet is only 15 minutes walk from the gondola through very beautiful pedestrianised paths but we were also offered a shuttle bus to and from the gondola each day. The chalet is also very close to lovely restaurants and two stunning town squares. We really felt spoilt by the total chalet team and both exercised and well rested after a week at your chalet. Thank you so much. We will be back.

The service and hosts was 5star! Lizzie and Eleni were welcoming and kind and great with my daughter too. The meals were absolutely to die for and we have left feeling thoroughly spoilt by our time away! Lizzie and Eleni explained to us lots of things that went on around the area too so we could choose different activities and new places to discover. Jay was fantastic and prompt with our shuttles to the mountains and we were always greeted with a warning smile from them all! Some fantastic memories and great laughs were had by all! Will definitely be using total chalets again!

10/10 - Best Hosts in Town
Where to start? The room itself was amazing, with plenty of blankets to keep warm and a lovely bathroom. Danny and Anna were so kind, cooking us breakfast every day and baking us a cake every day (yes every day!) for us to return to from the slopes. I even came back to a birthday cake and balloons on my birthday which was such a nice surprise. Laura was great behind the scenes, making sure we got everything booked and sorted with no issues at all, and Jay was great as well, full of tips and very kind to us. Both he and Danny were more than happy to drive us to the gondola every day as well as offering to pick us up at the end of the day. We also got free entry to a nearby spa thanks to the chalet which was a welcome treat towards the end of our stay. Could not recommend staying here enough, you will leave already planning next year’s stay.

Great Chalet, Hosts & Food!
Brilliant Chalet & hosts. The chalet was in great condition, the rooms were comfy, bathrooms in good condition and the living room area was so perfect to come back to after skiing. Our hosts, Anna and Danny were amazing. They really looked after us, whether we need lessons booked, suffering through a cold or if we had any other issues they would sort us out. Not only that, but they provided us with lovely food and a fresh cake each evening. They really made our trip! Jay was very helpful, running the shuttles and sorting us out with our equipment.
Had a lovely week in Bansko staying in the gorgeous homely Chalet Jora. Very clean and comfortable traditional Bulgarian chalet. Came home from skiing to a warm fire and the most delicious cake & tea in the afternoon. The Total chalets team do everything to make your stay so seamless - from the meals, to the ski hire, transfers, spas and restaurant recommendations, was the most amazing trip and will definitely be back. Thank you total chalets for looking after us!

We enjoyed a week snowboarding in Bansko and stayed with our hosts Lizzie, Elani and Jay at Chalet Mila. They all did an excellent job of caring for our every need including transfers, accommodation, food and even lifts to and from the slopes (not forgetting our driver "the Big Show"). As travelling vegans it was an absolute treat to have freshly prepared, whole food meals made for us, which made our holiday stress free and so much more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Total Chalets whatever your adventure is!
