After my AC stopped working I decided to give these guys a call. Best decision I could have made. I had another top rated company come out before them to give a 4k dollar quote for work that had nothing to do with the problem. Robert did a great job breaking down what he thought the problem was and why. He showed me various pictures that backed what he explained. The problem ended up being rooted from the shortcuts used by the company that installed my AC unit(RKM). The pricing was very reasonable and they were available to complete the work right away.

Robert and his son Bobby have wonderful customer service and professionalism. Always punctual with the time agreed to begin. Very thorough with explaining the job needed to be done and knowledgeable of their trade. Came in last week for AC maintenance and noticed something slightly off with previous reading from last maintenance and so they wanted to check it out. They found the issue and immediately felt the difference in AC temperature. Thanks to Robert and Bobby a great father son duo.

My 20+ year old central air system was struggling to keep my home cool and I knew it was going to need to be replaced. But I hate dealing with contractors that just want the sale and try to upsell you on everything. I chose Total Air because the reviews online consistently said they were honest and once I found reviews that said they didn't try to upsell, I knew these were the guys. Robert and his son Bobby came out to do a tuneup (I was still hoping for a little more life out of it) and gave me an honest assessment. Robert told me he didn't feel comfortable even trying to fix the issues he found because he knew it would eventually go out or maybe not even work given the age of the equipment and he knew I would be upset. He was right about that. So he looked at systems for me, got me a good price on an energy efficient heat pump system and dealt with the million questions I had about everything. Super thorough with his explanations and answers to all my questions. He told me he wanted me to feel comfortable before making the purchase, which I appreciated. He and his son came to start removing my old system that Thursday and I had my new system running perfectly by Sunday. They are not like other contractors I've worked with that start a job and then leave you hanging on when they finish it because of scheduling. They work until the job is done. Once the installation was complete, he walked me through everything, twice. Showed me pictures and videos of the system in my attic, showed me his work on my outside unit and walked me through how to use the panel. Robert and Bobby are both very professional and I can tell they take a lot of pride in their work. Everything looks and feels beautiful and I am a happy customer.

Updated update: Now his son has been coming solo and let me tell you, he’s gone from Apprentice to Professional! The integrity of this business is definitely being carried on! Transparency, incredible work inside and outside on the HVAC, explains what’s been done and always clean when he leaves! And of course just a pleasant person all around. Thank you always. UPDATE: Years later and still stand behind my original post/recommendation!! THAT says a lot! Consistency in a company’s integrity says a whole lot in today’s business world. So if you are looking for a reliable and honest A/C company, these are the guys! The most friendly and professional people I have ever experienced coming out to our home. Always completely clean up after themselves and so incredibly sincere and honest. Would recommend them to everyone!

Rob has come to service our AC/heater several times now and he is always upfront and professional. I am particularly happy with the reminders Total Air gives to remind me to get the service done before the Summer sets in. Ask love how Rob lays out the fixes we need (when needed) and tries to give his professional opinion on what can wait and what needs to be done now. Rob is also very up to date with State of California changes and extremely knowledgeable about old and new system technology. Thanks for being so excellent!!

I called Total Air and talked with Tish to schedule service on my home AC unit. She checked the schedule for my area and found an opening same day. Same Day!! Not next week or later this week but Same Day. I was thrilled. I was given a time window and was promptly texted to confirm my appointment window. I later received a text from Robert stating he was on the way. He arrived within the scheduled time window then immediately put on clean shoe covers before coming in the house. A diagnostic was immediately performed and a review of my AC unit was done. Fortunately my unit just needed a minor part replacement. Once the part was installed an inspection check list was completed to make sure all areas of concern were checked. Once the part had been installed and checked the temperature in my house began to cool. Robert cleaned and wiped down my unit and gave me a filter change recommendation as well. I will say I was very impressed with the professionalism and quality of the work. Thank you so much for bringing cool air back to my home.
