The vet was compassionate and caring, he came above and beyond the regular hours of operations.
He walked us through the process, answered our questions and was patient and very understanding.
Dr. Ash was incredibly kind and compassionate during one of the hardest moments we've ever faced. He was so gentle and soft-spoken while helping us say goodbye to our beloved dog, and his calm, caring manner made the entire experience much easier for our family. Very compassionate and gentle. The entire process from beginning to end went smoothly and quickly. As diffcult as it is to make this type of decision it was the right thing to do with the assistance of the right person. No additional stress was placed on our family. I highly recommend this service.
My black cat Kenny got sick on June 14 2026 had problems with her liver not eating and drinking took her to vet the next day did tests they gave us medication over the week had to hand feed her but then this past Sunday 21st it got worse then called Dr. Ash for the in home service which liked that he responded quickly. He came the next day Monday 22 in the morning had to say goodbye to her, would like to thank Dr. Ash for the professionalism and kindness during the difficult time.

My mom picked up Monty's ashes yesterday from Monty's vet (something Dr. Ash provides - Gateway Pet Memorial cremates and delivers the ashes to your vet).
Dr. Ash has a nice selection of urns to chose from, that he shows you on his ipad. We are impressed with how lovely Monty's is.

This man is an absolute angel. When he heard my dog was is distress he came over within the hour to help ease her pain. On our worst days we need people like Dr Ash, people with compassion and empathy that the average person just doesn’t have.

I wanted our little blind chihuahua at home over the weekend after he was diagnosed with a mass on a Saturday. We have grandkids & another dog who all needed to say goodbye. Our regular vet gave him palliative injections to keep him comfortable. By Sunday morning he was struggling & had pain. We were fortunate to have Dr. Ash from Toronto in Home Pet Euthanasia come to our house and let Huey die in peace after our goodbyes. His compassion & guidance was the energy we needed at that time. This was a very tough time in our lives, but Dr. Ash was a great help. Extremely caring and compassionate. It was great to let our pup experience her last moments in our home, where she was comfortable. It was heartbreaking to make and follow through with a decision to "say I love you" and "goodbye" to our little 17 year old , miniature pincher, friend coco. Especially as the surrounding circumstances were unexpected and traumatic. When reaching out in this time of need, Toronto Pet In Home Euthanasia services - Dr. Ash was professional, timely and compassionate in his response. His guidance and support was thorough, and non-pressuring. He made every effort to make our little friend as comfortable as possible. He explained the procedure, gave my family time to ask questions, and experience our last moments together, with coco, surrounded by love and peace. We are so incredibly grateful we could do this in the privacy of our home. This service made an overwhelming experience manageable, and a true blessing to receive. We would highly recommend this service for those able to choose it as an option.

This is the call that no one who has a pet wants to make. First off thank you for offering text messaging as a way of communication an option. We were not in any state to have a conversation on the phone. Dr. Ash was amazing. His gentle quiet disposition was comforting in a heartbreaking moment for our family. He didn’t hover nor did he rush us when we were saying goodbye. Many thanks. This process most definitely has been helpful in our grief.

Dr. Ash made arguably the worst day of my life so incredibly easy from start to finish. He answered all my inquiries quickly (even on a holiday) and was so patient and kind to me and my family during the most difficult task in pet ownership . In home euthanasia was the best final gift to give my Ripley, and Dr. Ash made it bearable, and gave us room to have our feelings and take our time with it all. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly and I couldn’t recommend this service enough for your pets final moments . Rest in Peace my sweet boy

I called Dr Ash when my poor Tibby was having a heart attack and Dr Ash responded within five minutes and said that he could be at my home in an hour. Unfortunately, Tibby succumbed and passed away before Dr Ash arrived. Dr Ash was most kind and helpful with Tibby and within a week, Tibby's ashes were returned to my vet for easy pickup.
