We have chosen Top of the Rock because our child needed options with longer vocal sessions than 30min. We have realised that it was 10/10 decision with the potential to reschedule last minutes if needed.
The staff over in The Rock is very friendly, welcome and flexible. They've offered great opportunities for our 8 yo child to get lessons straight away including time slots for affordable price with the tutors of our choice which are friendly, approachable and extremely professional.
If you get into the door there is definitely promised that you wouldn't be disappointed along with discovering a great potential.
My recommendation is to anyone who's chasing for the right place and expecting real music going on !!!

My son Ollie has drum lessons at OLST which started after top of the rocks attended a school fete one year and loved getting to join in. He looks forward to school on a Monday knowing it’s drum day. He loves that he gets to choose his own songs to learn especially after finding a new love of a kpop group. He couldn’t have been more proud after his head teacher came and told him how impressed his drum tutor was with learning a new difficult skill. As a mom I love the end of term feedback from his tutor getting to know how Ollie is doing and what he’s getting to learn next even if I have to ask Ollie what some things mean sometimes! A big thank you to Top Of The Rocks and an even bigger one to Ollie’s drum tutor!

My 5 year old is having drum lessons with Jude.
Jude has been incredible with him and he’s really helped my lad thrive on the drums. His ability has come on leaps and bounds, im no longer listening to random banging but actual beats and songs he’s been taught by Jude.
Jude has taught him to read music, and really encourages him.
100% recommend top of the rock, and you’ll be lucky to learn from Jude on the drums.

My 10 year old son absolutely loves his lessons with James, he can’t wait each week and is so enthusiastic telling us what he has learned. James lets Freddy choose what type of songs he would like to play while still teaching him the nessecary skills, making lessons fun. We look forward to seeing how he progresses over the next year.

I started at top of the rock over a year ago with Josh learning the guitar, the space is so welcoming and that amazing I now do drum lessons with Jude too. I had Kris for a short time and he was absolutely amazing too! I also participate in band workshops too! If you’re looking for a cozy and awesome place with amazing teachers Top of the rock is my recommendation! This place has truthfully saved my life and I couldn’t think of a better music studio to lean at!

I was worried about starting my guitar lessons too late in life, but my guitar teacher Harry has been so good that it’s no longer a worry of mine. I’ve seen major improvements in my skill and I couldn’t have done it without Harry. He pushes you to learn but doesn’t force you to do anything you don’t want to do. He makes it a light-hearted session and it doesn’t feel like a teacher, it feels like two friends catching up and that’s how I like it! I also love how I can bring my own guitar (acoustic) but if I want to do electric I can use one of the guitars at the studio! I’m so grateful I found top rock because if it wasn’t for the studio I would never have been able to build up the motivation to learn or push myself out of my comfort zone when it comes to playing :)

We have lessons from TOTR both in school and in studio and cannot speak highly enough of them. Both my boys LOVE their lessons and have shown total dedication and enjoyment the entire time which is testament to their amazing teachers.

Love my drumming lessons at Top of the Rock. My teachers Tim and Andy are drumming magicians. And every other teacher I've come across has been super enthusiastic and so bloody lovely. My oldest kiddo has lessons with Rory at his primary school and he loves them. One of the things that's so powerful is how inclusive and supportive the approach to learning is. Keep doing what you're doing, Top of the Rock.

My son has his drums lessons delivered by Top of the Rock at his school. He absolves it and is doing really well. His confidence level has gone really up. The teachers do a great job.
