Fabolous tour group
Tom and his team were fantastic. My wife and I will never forget the walking tour of Amsterdam, our visit to the tulip garden and the photographs at the private tulip fields. The drivers and tour guides were top notch. We highly recommend Tom’s Travel Tours.
We were lucky to have Tom as our private guide during our tulip trip with my fiancée. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and full of energy. He took us to the most beautiful tulip fields away from the crowds, making the experience feel truly special. He even acted as our personal photographer, capturing wonderful moments for us.
Second Time…and just as amazing!
This was our second tour with Tom’s Travel Tours. Our first tour was amazing. While we were prepared for our second tour to be not quite as good, since we were coming back to the same area at the same time… To see the tulips….Much to our surprise… It was equally as good! Just like last time, We again had an excellent tour guide. He took us to a tulip parade… And then north to take a helicopter ride over the tulip fields. I cannot recommend this company more highly. I have been known to be quite picky and demanding… Just ask my wife. However, we again had an awesome experience. I would not have changed a thing!

Toms Travel Tours not only customised my tour but paired me with the perfect guide, Wies, as well. I had an unforgettable day visiting the tulip fields in the North Of Holland, as well as the beautiful and peaceful gardens of Anna Poulowna, enjoyed a delicious lunch and tulip tea tasting in the company of a well versed and highly knowledgeable Wies, who might I add was very patient with all the stops I requested to take photos of the tulip fields. Tom not only has thought out his tours to the smallest of details, but he ends of the tours with special little touches, the likes of which I have not encountered before with any private tours I have done. Everything was well coordinated, all my requests were added to my trip without any issues and he was very understanding when I changed my dates. All in all, exceptional service and an exceptional day. Thank you so much Tom and Wies for memories - and photos- that will be treasured forever. 🌹
Tom gave us the introduction to Amsterdam and environment that we wanted.
We did the 3-hour walking tour in Amsterdam the day we arrived and the 7-hour countryside tour a couple days later. The city tour was great, our guide was Marjorie, she listened to what we wanted (not too much walking due to my arthritis) and adjusted her tour accordingly – although we think she took us to the most important places and gave us a good introduction to the city. For the long car tour, we had the boss, Tom, and he was great. In this case we had seen many of the traditional sites on a river trip before arriving, so he changed his usual route accordingly, taking us to Edam, Beemster (for the world champion cheese), Schermerhorn for the windmills, and a sweet little restaurant in Bergen.
I had an outstanding experience with Tom and his company - Tom’s Travel Tours. For weeks, we worked together to put an itinerary together for our 4 days in Amsterdam. Tom was professional, patient and responsive the entire step of the way. Every detail of our private tours was thoughtfully planned, making the entire trip feel seamless and stress-free. From the very beginning, Tom took the time to understand our expectations for our trip to Amsterdam. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Despite the time difference, he was always prompt and responsive via email, which I really appreciated.

Ingrid was fantastic during our walking and food tours—warm, engaging, and full of great insights. Marjorie, an art historian, completely changed the way I look at art. Rein was incredibly patient with us during our full-day trip to the countryside. Visiting Keukenhof Gardens was truly breathtaking, especially with the beautiful weather.
Stan led our Anne Frank walking tour and gave us a fascinating and deeply engaging history lesson. Along the way, he even stopped so we could try bitterballen—such a fun and authentic touch!
One of the highlights was when Tom himself took us out to the tulip fields and captured professional photos of our family. It was such a special experience, especially since I wasn’t sure what to expect. He also showed us small towns we otherwise would never have seen—each one charming and offering a completely different feel from Amsterdam.
Overall, we learned more about the culture and history of Amsterdam on this trip than with any other travel agency we’ve used. The thoughtful gifts were also a lovely and unexpected touch.

My wife and I visited The Netherlands for a week in April 2026 and did three full-day tours and one three-hour Amsterdam walking tour, all arranged by Tom. Things could not have gone better: four great guides showed us the sights in Amsterdam, Delft, The Hague, and rural parts of North Holland. We visited Keukenhof and the Aalsmeer Flower Auction and a working windmill and tulip fields stretching to the horizon. It was a terrific and unforgettable experience! Thank you, Tom!
Amazing Intimate Tulip & Bike Ride Tour with Fantastic Guide!
We had an amazing trip on this tour with our guide Jeroen! He was so fun to spend the day with and had fun and knowledgeable facts about the Dutch History of each place we visited. He also went out of his way to make sure our experience was enjoyable and comfortable. He suggested we tried traditional Dutch kibbeling and it did not disappoint. Our tour was intimate and we never felt crowded by tourists. It felt we had the tulips, the bike lanes and day to ourselves which was important to all in our party. Jeroen was on time for both our pick up and drop off - he was a gem of a guide for our day and made us laugh and laughed with us.
I can’t recommend Tom’s Travel Tours enough. This was truly one of the most personal, thoughtful, and fun experiences I’ve ever had.
Tom was absolutely wonderful during our tour of the tulip fields in northern Holland. He was so kind and welcoming—and even shared his homemade tulip tea with us, which was such a special touch. It’s clear how much care he puts into creating a meaningful experience for his guests.

We did a private Amsterdam city walking tour and a private Dutch countryside tour during our time in Amsterdam - both were magnificent! Tom’s Tours were very easy to coordinate with and tailored the itinerary directly to our wishes. We really enjoyed the ability to go “off the beaten path” and see some of the less touristy things. We would certainly use this company again!
We did 4 tours with Toms on our 5 day visit and we loved all of them. We did the Amsterdam highlights tour with Ingrid the first day which was a walking tour of historic areas and notable things in Amsterdam. We did the Royal Tour the following day with Fred, including the Delft porcelain factory and the Hague which is also a terrific tour full of history. The third day we did the museum tour with the van Gogh Museum and also the museum with the Rembrandt and Vermeer collections. Ingrid was our guide and she was very fluent in art history and extremely knowledgeable.
The final day we did the tulip mania tour with Jeroen which was spectacular. We were also able to visit a working windmill from the 1600s and see the North Sea beach on the way back, which was also wonderful. All of the guides were attentive and knowledgeable. It was a great trip overall thank you!
An excellent private tour of the keukenhof and some surrounding windmills and villages. Rita was a great host and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.
Tulips, wind mills, cheese and so much more!
Jeroen was a great tour guide and wasn’t afraid to “tweak” our tour to meet our interests. He really knows a lot about history, agriculture, Amsterdam, and the best cheese stops! He was very nice to spend the day with. We started at the Keukenhof gardens, toured a working wind mill, tasted award-winning cheeses, explored a charming village named De Rijp, and enjoyed an amazing lunch. We even stumbled upon a guinea pig competition (kinda like Westminster but for guinea pigs!) TTT was quick to answer our questions and payments were easy. We would definitely recommend Tom’s Travel Tours.
