Lovely intimate tour of the bats Small intimate tour by knowledgeable staff and volunteers. They are happy to answer any questions. Nice merchandise if you wish to assist this important wildlife conservation organisation. Do not expect to handle bats. They are often on the mend from injury and are wild.

A safe haven for bats in need Wonderful and very clean facility! Enjoyed the small tour and close up experience seeing the micro bats & mega bats. Learned quite a bit about the challenges facing bats in Queensland. Highly recommend a visit.

Tolga Bat Tour- Outstanding Wow! What an experience! Live was our guide and she was so lovely. Jenny, the owner and founder met us as well. My husband is vaccinated and under training for Bats and Flying Foxes so he felt so at home with these majestic creatures. Highly recommended - loved every minute of it

The wonderful Tolga Bat Hospital Visiting the Tolga Bat Hospital has long been a dream of mine and one of the reasons I travelled to Queensland from South Australia. Jenny’s vision has resulted in the most amazing, comprehensive care facilities for our keystone bat species and you can’t help but be impressed with the thought, care and hard work that it has taken. Vivvy gave an excellent presentation of the bats in care and was knowledgeable and friendly. Visitors are able to see the various bats up close and learn about the different species and the challenges they face in the wild. I highly recommend everyone to pay this hospital a visit - even if bats are not your preferred animal. You may be surprised and change your mind! And of course, I bought the tshirt….. Spontaneous visit and no regrets... :-) The visit to the Bat Hospital was a spontaneous one and we did not regret it. The entry fee was reasonable and the tour started on time. The information received was great and partly new to us and we were also able to take pictures of the bats very closely. Thanks a lot for this great experience.

Fantastic closeup tour of Flying Foxes and Microbats. We had a very informative tour with the lovely Bianca. It was great to see these beautiful mammals up close and witness the amazing care and dedication given by all the volunteers helping these bats in need. A must see to cover all Australian fauna that we still have.

A must to visit on your trip This was one of the highlights of our trp. We didn’t realise how important the work they do there is. It was extremely informative interesting and the bats are delightful
