We had a really nice lesson with Jake, he was an amazing teacher ! It was our first time surfing and we were able to stand up after 2 hours ! Jake gave us really good tips, we would definitly book another lesson with this school :)

Had a blast, really good instruction and a proper fun time.
Our instructor Spencer was the most chill guy and a great teacher. We can only recommend the lesson.

My girlfriend and I had our very first surf lesson here, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! The value was excellent, and our instructor Cheetos made the entire afternoon a blast while giving us great tips to improve. We're hooked!

Had such an amazing experience with Tofino Surf School! The whole vibe was super friendly and welcoming, from the office team on email, to the guys in the shop for wetsuits. And Rafa was the absolute best instructor — patient, encouraging, and made the whole lesson so much fun for the entire group. He explained things really clearly and gave me just the right tips to actually get up on the board (despite having a lot of lessons in the past, this was the first time I'd actually done it) and feel confident out there. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, is a super skilled yet humble surfer himself and wants you to have the best time possible. Couldn’t recommend them more if you’re looking to surf in Tofino! Thank you all so much, what an unreal day.

Es war der beste Tag an der Küste! Unser Surflehrer Cheeto 🤙🏼 war sehr nett und hat alles sehr gut erklärt. Die Wellen waren perfekt für Anfänger und nach ein paar Versuchen hat es sehr gut geklappt. Danke für die tolle Zeit.

EDIT: After our kids had so much fun 2 years ago, we booked it this year and brought 8 more kids (6 families in total) with us to join the class. We booked 2 classes this time around and all 10 kids had a blast.
Everyone had so much fun surfing that we (all 6 families) will be planning to book again for next year!
ORIGINAL: We enrolled our kids into Tofino Surf School during our vacation in Tofino this Summer. We had Kai as the instructor and he was very informative, patient, kind, and respectful to the kids.
Although this was the first time the kids have gone surfing, they were able to stand and surf the waves within the first hour.
Kai was very encouraging to the kids and they had a lot of fun. After the class was over the kids didn't want to leave and asked us if we can buy them a surfboard!

Had such an awesome time surfing! We were a group of 4 and our instructor, Cheetos, was the best. Super friendly, easygoing, and explained everything really well. He made it fun and we all managed to catch some waves. Highly recommend taking a lesson here!

I had a 3 hour surfing group lesson with Stan and I had an amazing time. He was a great instructor and really taught us a lot. It was me and my friends first time surfing and we enjoyed it a lot and look forward to surfing again in the future. Thank you for an amazing experience!!

My friend and I booked a lesson with Tofino Surf School and it was one of the best experiences we've had in Tofino! Making the reservation was super easy, and they were really flexible in accommodating our needs. Our surfing instructor gave a thorough and clear explanation of potential hazards and safety habits, which made us feel confident and prepared before hitting the water. We had tons of time to surf and Coach Jake gave us super helpful tips that led to my friend and me standing on our boards, even with no prior experience! They also have cheap rentals that comes with a roof rack after you do their lesson in case you want to surf longer! We had the best time. Thanks again, Tofino Surf School! :^)

We had a 3 hour group lesson for our family (6 adults) with Cheetos last month and we all had a great time! He was patient, kind, enthusiastic, and encouraging. He was cheering us all on. The registration process was great via email and all questions were responded to quickly. Thanks to Rafa for helping us thru the booking process. Thanks to the staff for having everything promptly ready when we arrived. The only thing we forgot to bring was sunscreen for our faces, so make sure you bring sunscreen. Lots of laughs and a great memory for all of us. We all felt confident by the end of our lesson and will definitely all surf again! Thanks to Cheetos for the great day!
