Kathryn and the team at Timpson were just excellent supporting us in our spousal visa application. There's so much to hold in your head in these processes that are both logistically and emotionally substantial, and it really made a difference having a partner to give clear and concrete steps at each stage of the journey. They made things simple and straightforward (what you need to provide, for what reason, where and how to get it, what to expect in timelines) and while still being so compassionate (making calls to get to know us and our relationship to better understand our case, reassuring us through the long wait of the process, checking in on status and communicating with the department on our behalf).
The visa process often feels enormous, expensive, and overwhelming. We engaged Timpson because even though our relationship is legitimate and had so much documentation to back it up, there is still a significant emotional, financial, and time investment just making the application -- we wanted to make sure we did it right. We figured getting a lawyer would be cheaper and less painful than having to do it twice or dealing with appeals, and it really made a colossal difference for us.
The team at Timpson has big hearts and have been through it with so many others like you -- it is heartening to see that kind of commitment and personal experience. I would definitely recommend them as great partners to someone who feels intimidated staring down the visa application process.

We used Timpson Immigration Lawyers for partner visa subclass 309 and later on for subclass 100.

I've been working with Timpson Immigration lawyers since October 12, 2022 in regards to immigrating from the USA to Australia. We had a fairly complex case that resulted in us being unable to use a Migration agency. From day one, our consultation with Richard Timpson - I knew I found the right group to work with. This was after several poor encounters with other lawfirms. Richard was confident we could successfully obtain our 189 skilled visa.
From there I worked closely with Kathryn and a few others. Kathryn was kind, demonstrated patience with my worries, and was knowledgeable on the laws and processes for visa applications. I Cannot thank Richard / Danni / Steph and the rest off the team enough for all the work they did towards gaining residency for my 2 boys , The journeys was not an easy journey my 1st son was given 30 Days to get out of the country . That’s when Richard and his fabulous team stepped in, after overcoming some issue my 1st son was granted residency last December 2022 , my 2 son also had issues and again after a stressful time Richard and his team reassured me he would be fine and submitted his 186 visa in December 2023 we were all taken back and surprised after 2 months we received an email from Richard and his team advising my 2 son has been granted residency , to say we are all overjoyed is an understatement , we are now in the process with Richard and his team to look at sorting myself and mums visa to join our 2 sons , I cannot thank Richard and his team enough for their communication professionalism and commitment they showed , they went above and beyond our expectations thank you all from the bottom of our hearts , you are the best , you have made my 2 Boys very happy
