I had a very positive experience with Tidy Dog Donelson! I brought in my 15 year old dachshund who has been having mobility issues and my 3 year old dachshund. Both have severe separation anxiety from me, but the staff took care of them both while keeping a close eye on them even during their wait. They even gave my older dog extra attention with an additional staff member while he was nervous while he was getting trimmed/cut. He had some matting on his backside because of not being able to walk for the past couple of months and they were able to take care of all that while making him as comfortable as he could be. Specifically went to them because of their Senior Comfort option! Great experience, and I will be back and exclusively using them!

Canât really say much but beware of where youâre sending your dogs. As long as it took to pick up a doordash order i watched a lady (a worker) yell at the dogs rudely trying to rush them inside from a bathroom break. idk i wouldnât want some random lady speaking to my animals in a tone she ainât got no right speaking in.

You're referring to Emily, our General Manager. Those are her personal dogs, and she has just gotten done with a course of meds after the dog got an insect bite on the face and had a reaction. Straight out, straight back in, no strolling, no sniffing.

I have taken my dogs to Tidy Dogs for years. This was the first visit since they changed ownership. I am extremely disappointed in the cut. He is all gapped up. One eyebrow is shaved so short it looks like itâs gone. Heâs just a mess. He was depressed for 2 days after this haircut. And I paid $138.00 for this, call me stupid đ.

Nothing was raised at that time.

We never received a call, text, or email from you. Previous owners were top notch. New ownership, doesn't compare. Have sent several friends in the area to have their dogs groomed. Dogs were injured, grooming quality terrible. Will not send any more business to this place.

Very disappointed in the final results of my dogâs grooming. Trim was uneven in places. Most concerning was the cut he had on his leg when I picked him up. Wonât be taking him back.
Update: The owners response to this original post contains inaccurate information. Look at the before and after photos and you decide if they did a good job on my dog.
2nd Update:
I never saw or spoke with a second groomer. I NEVER said âhe looked goodâ. When I questioned the lady about the cut on his leg, she said âitâs just a scrape-he probably did it on the doorâ. She never mentioned him jumping during grooming. In fact she commented that he stood up on that grooming table âlike a show dogâ. Note the uneven cut of the hair on his ears and his chest in the photos.

UPDATE - We saw your edit alleging "inaccurate information" and we're not sure what is inaccurate in what we wrote above. Max is an Aussiedoodle puppy that has been groomed appropriately short for the upcoming Nashville late spring/summer.

Very pleased with the new ownership and management! Prices more reasonable and the experience has been upgraded. My dog Dapper loves going there now.

The booking system is really confusing. Youâre asked to request an appointment based on the availability shown online, but most of the time they call back and say that time actually isnât available. It feels like youâre just guessing rather than booking a real time slot. Iâve never had to âguessâ a companyâs availability before

That extra step lets us plan the day carefully so each dog receives proper attention and is ready around the expected time rather than waiting in a kennel for hours.
If you request several days in advance we can usually match your preferred time closely, and about a week out we can almost always accommodate it.
