An absolutely professional service throughout. After having been let down badly by another plumbing service I found Thurgood Heating on Google and gave them a call. I'm so glad I did as I needed a new boiler anyway and Thurgood Heating were much more sensible on price. I now have a 10 year warranty with my new oil boiler too. The Hive thermostat installation is also a bonus as I can now control everything from an app or directly using the thermostat whether heating or hot water. The quality of works was also exceptional. I am more than happy to personally recommend this company to anyone, first class from start to finish!

Prompt and effective action in an emergency and ended up staying late into evening. Cost bit of a shock but possibly to be expected tbf!

Burgess responded to no hot water in our apt so quickly, twice! We couldn’t have been happier with his response and support so quickly when it’s a business it’s so important. Professional, responsive, would reccomend.
Burgess has just saved us many sleepless nights and worries after promptly attending to check on a water leak, which seemed to be under our kitchen floor. Our worst fear was that we would have to dig up the whole floor. We’d had heard a whistling sound in a pipe for several weeks and could not locate it. Burgess found a leaking valve behind our washing machine. He moved the fitting and location of the valve to a more convenient and easier to reach place. He was very quick and efficient and communicated clearly and swiftly throughout. I can highly recommend Burgess and his services.

We had a boiler replaced and relocated. This meant removing 2 hot water tanks, header tanks and reworking the connections to the radiators. The work was completed to a very high standard in the time indicated and all compliance and guarantee work was completed for us.

Burgess initially came at short notice as our previous Gas Boiler service engineer had been unable to cure our boiler repeatedly cutting out. After eliminating all the causes he changed the burn nozzle, tuned the “gas mix” and the CO in the flu sensor went from 1000s to virtually Nil! He has since fully serviced it and all is well! Polite, diligent professional!
