Karla thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear you had a great visit and that Rianna, Yolanda, and Dr. Shen made such a positive impact. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to continuing to provide you with excellent care!
Arely was great and did an awesome job taking care of me. Kristy was an amazing hygienist. Did a fantastic job on my cleaning. No discomfort and she wasn't rough. I'll definitely be back to Thrive. Switching to them as my main dentist
It's never comfortable going to the dentist or at least the ones Ive been to but this location was totally different. Ive never felt so comfortable in my life. The staff was VERY welcoming, the assistant I had was the sweetest ever and I actually look forward to going back for treatment. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY recommend.

Needs to Find Different Dentist – Very Disappointing
I’ve been a patient at this clinic for a couple of years, and last year I even switched my wife here. She has also done her braces treatment at this clinic, so we trusted them with our family’s dental care.
Today I had an appointment for a basic cleaning and exam that is covered by my insurance. After spending about an hour on multiple exams, X-rays, and photos, the dentist told me I needed deep cleaning and refused to do the regular cleaning.
I understand that doctors can recommend treatments, but completely denying a basic cleaning after all that time and effort was very disappointing. This experience has made me reconsider continuing care here.

I had my dental cleaning done yesterday with Christy, the hygienist, and she did an excellent job! I’m very particular about cleanings, and she was thorough, gentle, and professional. She even took the time afterward to show me how clean my bridge looked. I really appreciated her attention to detail and care.
A few years ago:
We have been going to Breckinridge Dental for about 2 years now. My son got his braces and he has been pretty happy with Dr. Nathan. Today, I got cleaning done by Diana, registered dental hygienist. She did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth - nobody had done such comprehensive cleaning in many many years. Normally, I see dentist once a year (did not feel that I was missing much with a mid-year visit). If I get such thorough cleaning, I will see you guys once in 6 months:)
Update (August 14th, 2023)
My family has been using services of this dental practice for over 5 years. In recent months, we have noticed a significant shift in their approach. The emphasis seems to have moved away from providing quality care and has instead become focused on promoting as many procedures as possible. This change has been quite noticeable and concerning.
A recent incident highlighted this change in approach. I expressed my lack of interest in undergoing a deep cleaning procedure, only to be informed that my tooth couldn't be cleaned without it. I have a well-maintained bridge that I take care of diligently, using daily brushing and flossing, yet there is occasional minor buildup. To manage this, I have an oral care kit that includes dental tools such as a mirror and pick, which I use every couple of months to clean the bridge myself.
Curiously, after supposedly undergoing a deep cleaning last week, I took a close look at my bridge using the dental mirror tool just three days later (please refer to the attached picture). To my surprise, the buildup remained unchanged. This experience has led me to question the necessity of the deep cleaning procedure in the first place. In the past, routine cleanings had always left my bridge in good condition without requiring additional intervention.
Considering these recent developments, I am now reevaluating whether our family should continue visiting this dental practice in the future. The shift from their previously reliable and quality-focused care to a seemingly aggressive push for unnecessary procedures has left me uncertain about the practice's commitment to our oral health and well-being.
I can’t say enough great things about this office. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is welcoming, professional, and incredibly attentive. The dentists and orthodontist are skilled, detail‑oriented, and truly invested in creating the best outcome. The staff is just as friendly and efficient. I’m so grateful to have found a place that makes dental and orthodontic care this easy and stress‑free. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional care and a team that really goes above and beyond.
Wonderful place. The staff are always polite and smiling. They are also very kind and patient with nervous patients.
Staff is amazing and we are happy with the braces for my son. Expect delays for dental cleaning
My wife has had quite a few traumatic experiences at the dentist and now needs nitrous for a calm experience. We chose this business after confirming they offer nitrous gas for anxious patients. Prior to the appointment, we called 3 separate times to confirm nitrous was available and used at this location. Today was the appointment, and to say it went horrifically would be an understatement. My wife arrived home in tears and stated that when she arrived, she made it clear she needed nitrous gas. They situated her in the chair, told her a part was missing, but never told her they could reschedule. They stated they would do the exam with numbing, but that was not acceptable and doesn't do anything for her. The initial exam started with tears streaming down her face, and there was zero compassion exhibited by the hygienist or doctor. No one asked her if she was okay or offered any form of compassion. My wife struggles to get out of the house and she had put this off for months due to the anxiety. This was a failure on multiple fronts, from not recognizing that a nitrous requirement was coming in today and realizing you didn't have the required equipment to facilitate a successful visit to an extreme lack of compassion by staff. This is going to affect her mental health for a long time to come.

We are truly sorry to hear about your wife’s experience. What you described is deeply concerning, and we sincerely apologize for the distress this caused her and your family.
We understand how difficult it can be to seek dental care after past traumatic experiences, and we regret that we did not provide the safe, compassionate, and supportive environment your wife needed and deserved. We also apologize for the confusion and failure regarding the availability of nitrous oxide. You took the time to confirm this multiple times, and we should have ensured everything was fully prepared prior to her appointment or clearly communicated the need to reschedule.
Equally important, we are very sorry to hear about the lack of empathy shown during her visit. Compassion and patient comfort should always be at the center of our care, especially for those experiencing anxiety. It is clear we fell short in this regard, and that is not acceptable to us.
We take this feedback very seriously and will be addressing both the communication breakdown and the concerns about how your wife was treated with our team to ensure this does not happen again.
We would truly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly, make this right, and discuss how we can better support your wife moving forward. Please contact us at your convenience so we can personally assist you.
Again, we are deeply sorry for this experience and the impact it has had.
