There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr. Kole. My husband has small intestinal cancer that has unfortunately metastasized. He was told that neither surgery or radiation is an option due to the invasive surgeries that he has already underwent and because of the location of the cancer, radiation would not be an option either. He received chemotherapy treatments and as a result the tumor grew. I decided to do some research and came across Dr. Kole at Valley Health System. We were not going through Valley but after reading his credentials and some of the reviews, we decided to go for a consult. There is no cure for this type of cancer but my husband was suffering with pain. The pain medications were not working and he was really feeling defeated. Dr. Kole came up with a plan and a week later my husband underwent a week of radiation therapy. Approximately a month later, he went for a CAT scan and he is stable! We are optimistic, even though we know that it will rear it's ugly head again. We have since switched all of his care to Valley and feel that we are in excellent hands. I was introduced to Dr Kole and his entire staff from my urologist due to a high PSA, and it was determined that I had prostate cancer.
I then met with Dr Kole in his office and he explained the treatment he suggested in great detail and the possible side effects that I might experience.
Dr Kole recommended radiation treatments that lasted several weeks. During this period of time I was contacted by Dr Kole and his office thru out the treatment multiple times.
I received a direct call from Dr Kole 2 months after my treatments and wanted to know how I am doing and do I have any issues . His assistant then asked me to make another appointment 2 months from now.
The objective is to make sure that the treatment will further reduce my PSA.
During this period Dr Kole and his office called me asking me how I was feeling and how I was dealing with some of the side effects and did I need to see or talk with the Doctor.
Dr Kole and his staff including Valley Hospital were the most professional and experienced group of Doctors, nurses and technicians I have ever experienced.
