Sunday roast great for all!!
Me and my wife came down for a roast and saw they also do a dog roast so we thought nice sunny day beer garden they can come with and we all absolutely loved every bit of it great meat great veg and the puppies loved all of it licking the bowl clean, thank you so much to all staff bringing dog bowls of cool water and cuddles!! Will deffo be back!!

Fabulous Sunday roast
Fantastic Sunday roast lunch, we ordered sides of cauliflower cheese and red cabbage. The food was very tasty and hot, generous portions. We asked for extra gravy which was offered without any hesitation. We had the cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - good portion sizes and v appetising. The pub is lovely, lots of space and tasteful decor. I saw 3 log burners so the pub was v cosy. It was busy with guests of all ages and a couple of dogs. The staff were v helpful and friendly. It was a lovely afternoon, will definitely return and recommend to friends and family

Perfect for lunch stopover
We were returning from a trip to Norfolk and rang several pubs en-route most of which were closed for lunch (lots don't update their trading hours or website). The White Horse came up on a slight diversion from our route but were open and able to fit us in (with dogs). The meals were substantial for a lunch and service attentive. Looks as though it has had a recent modernisation with clean decor and floors. An inviting smart looking pub.

A very good experience.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday. The elcome and atmosphere were warm and inviting. Staff friendly. We each chose something different and all 4 of us found it well presented and delicious. We had desserts too and also found them to be good. I was happy with my choices but would also have been happy with the other 3 mains and desserts that were chosen. The quality was good. It was priced in line with other gastro pubs in the area. Having had a bad experience in another venue, we were concerned but would have no hesitation in recommending The White Horse.
