Our recent visit was a party of 10 we have done this previously. Mixed ages from children to pensioners. We had food and drinks. Everything was amazing food, Atmosphere and staff. It’s a lovely local pub well worth a visit.

I have been here twice in a couple of days while visiting nearby and on both occasions i thoroughly enjoyed the food : steak on the first occasion and Sunday roast on the second - excellently cooked and very well presented ~ the service was great on both occasions too - lovely, cosy and welcoming inside - highly recommend a visit :)

Was not happy with the table seating , very cramped in the corner of the room for 4 adults , I thought the seating was better before you changed it , but we did spot another table not in use so asked for that one and staff were accommodating and moved us , we also waited for over an hour for our food which we were not warned about , when the food came it was lovely 5 stars for that .

Thank you for this kind & honest review, apologies our team should have stated there was a wait on food at peak times as we are a small kitchen & when busy sometimes food can take a little longer to deliver.
Im glad the food was worth the wait and overall the team were accommodating.
The table layout has changed due to a dart board soon to be installed in that area of the dining room.
I will pass on the comments to my team, but I'm grateful for this honest & fair review, reviews help us improve our service.
