How good is the Ternary, fantastic. Have been eating at the Ternary for years. Regular dining and all celebrations of significance, every time (well over 50 visits) is great, staff, food and atmosphere, some of the staff have been there for years easily over 10yrs and you are treated like a special guest, it is my favourite Sydney restaurant. We always love dining here but I was disappointed that I was unable to obtain the Accor ALL+ discount and credit points for a meal I paid for with a pre-purchased voucher due to a misunderstanding of staff working on that shift. Customer service is all about recovery and when I queried this with the GM Zayne, he asked the F&B Manager to personally intervene to provide me with a complimentary dinner for four. That’s the kind of service that will ensure we keep coming back to the Ternery!

It was our first time dining here, and overall it was an okay experience. We ordered the king prawns, duck leg, garlic naan and the Balmain bug special for entrees. For mains, we had the char kway teow, tandoori lamb cutlets and tandoori salmon. Portions were generous, and while the flavours were decent, the char kway teow was definitely the highlight of the meal. The cocktails were just average and nothing particularly stood out we tried the Flower Power and No woman no rye On the positive side, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Overall, a solid 4/5 experience.

What a dinner! We had a family dinner to celebrate my birthday and selected The Ternary based on the good Google and Trip Advisor reviews - and it was truly worthwhile. The service was exceptional - super friendly and very efficient. We chose the "Taste of The Ternary" set menu and it was simply delicious, and so much better value than several other restaurants we had looked at. The atmosphere is casual (the space is the breakfast area for the hotel) but the food was elegant and refined. Dishes were plentiful and every one of the many courses and food styles impressed. We will definitely be back.

분명 주문할 때 No prawn이라고 말씀드렸고 서버분도 OK라고 답한 뒤 주문서에 적는 것까지 직접 확인했습니다. 그래서 파스타에 새우가 올라와 있었을 때도 원래 기본으로 나오는 메뉴인 줄 알고 그대로 식사를 했습니다. 그런데 계산 후 영수증을 보니 with prawn으로 주문이 들어가 있었습니다. 직원에게 설명하며 주문할 때 분명히 No prawn이라고 요청했고 확인까지 받았다고 말씀드렸지만 이미 식사를 모두 마쳤다는 이유로 계속 죄송하다고만 할 뿐 추가된 새우 가격은 빼줄 수 없다고 했습니다. 더 불쾌했던 점은 저희는 해당 파스타에 원래 새우가 포함되는 메뉴인지조차 몰랐는데도 파스타를 받았을 때 바로 말하지 않은 저희 잘못인 것처럼 이야기했다는 것입니다. 주문을 잘못 입력한 것은 직원 측의 실수였음에도 책임을 고객에게 돌리는 응대는 매우 실망스러웠습니다. 결국 해외 카드 결제 수수료만 제외해 주겠다고 했는데, 이를 마치 큰 배려를 해주는 것처럼 이야기하는 태도도 기분이 좋지 않았습니다. 여행 첫날부터 더 기분을 망치고 싶지 않아 그대로 결제하고 나왔지만, 음식보다도 문제를 대하는 방식과 고객 응대 때문에 더 실망스러운 경험으로 남았습니다.

Broad ranged menu and decent value when you are an Accor member. The steaks looked great but were on the dry / overcooked side the night we dined here. The quality of produce saved the meal. The starters are decent, like the garlic naan, burrata and tomatoes, and the calamari which were all fresh. Service had a large footprint to cover and were capable but generally impersonal. Food came out without much wait which was appreciated. The views to Darling Harbour are now blocked by the Mirvac development, which is a shame as this would add to the experience.
