I had refractive lens exchange surgery purely to get rid of the need to wear glasses and to prevent ever needing cataract surgery in my old age. This 10 minute procedure has restored my eye sight to what it was 20 years ago. It’s amazing. Apart from some mild discomfort during the operation and the feeling I’d been poked in the eye for a few hours afterwards, my sight was fully restored in each eye by the very next day. Although some hospitals offer both eyes to be done on the same day I was impressed that Mr Savant the surgeon was unwilling to do this, explaining that he always wanted to check progress on the first eye before doing the second. All the staff are so professional and friendly and a special mention to Mr Savant who I fully recommend and trust entirely, and Ben the practice Manager. I would fully recommend this hospital and the services offered whether NHS or privately funded.

I cannot find a single fault with this hospital . I've had two cataract removal procedures there and found every member of staff there kind ,caring and extremely efficient . Everything was explained to me in great detail before the procedure which immediately put me at ease . The hospital itself is very well presented and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility to family and friends.

I had my cataract surgery done with flawless experience. The reception staff and the technical staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home! The surgeon ,Mr Sampath, was very thoughtful and thorough. I was explained each step along the way and my surgery I was hardly aware when I was told it was all done. Having had 2 cataract operations at Stoneygate in the last year I cannot speak highly of the service that was given. All the staff from reception on entry , to the nurses and consultants were very attentive and caring making the experience very comfortable.. so many smiling faces giving a warm feeling throughout the entire time I was there. Coffee/Tea constantly being offered. obviously it is a delicate operation and can be quite frightening but this was taken away by the amazing care given by all the staff . I would highly recommend considering Stoneygate Eye Hospital without hesitation.

My experience of The Stoneygate Eye Hospital was first class, not being sure what to expect in having a cataract operation I was obviously apprehensive but I needn't have worried everything went really well. The operation and preparation for it was explained fully and carried out very professionally with all of the staff so helpful and friendly. Having recovered from the first cataract operation carried out two weeks ago I'm back early next week for my other eye to be dealt with, this time I feel more relaxed and at ease, mainly due to the staff and their professional approach. I can highly recommend this hospital. I was terrified of having cataract surgery but the staff were amazing. They didn’t make feel I was being silly. The nurses and consultant talked me through everything in very kind and professional manner. They really were wonderful. The surgery was very successful and I’m actually looking forward to the other one being done. I have no fear or worries about it as I know Stoneygate will take good care of me. Thank you.

Perfect care and attention with an incredible conclusion I had a cataract operation to my right eye preformed by Mr Savant. No pain, not even uncomfortable, was given the ultimate care and reassurance prior to surgery. I opted for the multi focal lens, which is the best one they offer. It hasn’t disappointed, my vision easily allowing me to type this without glasses, which hasn’t happened for over 20 years! Will eventually require my right eye to have the same procedure, this of course will be done at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital. Therefore a big thank you to everyone who helped me with my incredible outcome with my Cataract surgery.
