Perfect place to come back to after a day out riding motorcycle or hiking. Allen, is super cool, made sure cabins were tidy and AC on blast upon our arrival. Plenty of wood to set up a fire and a nice dry spot to park the bikes.

We booked a stay recently and highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in the area. Our purpose was to ride up on our bikes and take advantage of all the local roads. We stayed in the "Big Dawg" cabin. Alan was an incredible host and looking forward to our next trip.

Alan is simply the best host. Such a beautiful and peaceful place with a perfect location being close to The Tail of the Dragon and Robbinsville, NC.

For the price you get the best service you will ever want. The host is a true class act southern gentleman that went above and beyond anything I ever experienced in making sure I was safe during a solo travel in sketchy conditions arriving late at night

My friend and I were on a motorcycle trip through the area and decided to camp for a couple of nights. I'm glad we found Simple Life. It's a very quiet and secluded camping area with multiple options, from tent camping to full cabins at VERY reasonable prices. Upon arrival we were met by the owner, Alan. He is a very friendly guy and worked with us to get into a cabin rather than tent camping. I'm glad we did. The cabin was comfortable with clean and comfortable beds. An extra bonus is it was right by the bath houses. Alan has an on-site store to sell basic items and firewood. There's also an on-site area to wash your motorcycle. Alan does a great job of maintaining the grounds and making sure his guests are comfortable. If you're looking for a rowdy party atmosphere, this place is NOT for you. Alan personally screens guests to ensure everyone has a relaxing and quiet time. We'll definitely go back the next time we're in the area.

Stayed in the Dawg House for our trip to the Tail May 2-5. Rode in feom the Northwestern tip of Virginia, We arrived late but the cabin was unlocked and prepared for us. The owner came down and greeted us and gave us some wood for the fire pit for the next evening. He is top notch . This is a gem tucked in the hollow just out of town. Quiet and peaceful.The cabins are clean and the beds were comfortable. The Dawg House was Just what we needed. I HIGHLY recommend

This campground was absolutely fantastic. The owner was very nice and helpful. We road in from Powhatan Va. It was raining cold and they were calling for snow the next morning. Our plan was to stay in tents for the night. The owner allowed us to stay in the bunkhouse for the night. So if you are looking for a place to stay along the Dragon. This is the place.

We stayed at Simple Life the night before a big trek through the Smoky Mountains and were impressed with the quality of the facilities and proximity to the park. Alan, the owner, was incredibly helpful, professional, and accommodating. We will 100% stay here again if we're in the area and in need of a cabin or tent camping spot.
