My friends and I had an incredible time at The Rug Room! It was our first time trying anything like this, but our instructor Hunter was so sweet and explained everything with an in-depth demo. He was so helpful, patient, and supportive throughout the whole process! I would highly recommend the Rug Room and I can’t wait to go back!
First time doing this and it was so much fun! Hunter is a great teacher and taught us the safety and instruction pretty easily. Got to do some practice lines before actually tufting our design. Definitely would do this again as a girls or date activity!

Instead of just buying a rug, you can make your own! You bring your own design, get a quick and helpful tutorial from Hunter, and then dive right into using a tufting gun, choosing your yarn colors, reloading as needed, and crafting your own custom piece from start to finish.
The space is small but well-organized, and beginner-friendly, even if you've never touched a tufting gun before. Hunter and Taylor were patient, encouraging, and made sure our group felt confident every step of the way. (Maybe too confident! Haha)

100% worth every penny i had to get a reservation for me as well because i wanted my own rug to work on. Hunter was super sweet and nice giving us a whole bunch of tips and tricks and explained the process really well. He even gave me some extra time to finish up my rug 🥹. Will definitly come back here again.

Taylor was an amazing host to our rug creation night! She was there till 11:30 PM when we left and was still cleaning up afterwards and spent so much time to make sure that we were taken care of and did everything right! Such a dope experience

This is the one thing I wanted to do on my birthday and I'm so glad that I went! The instructions were great and, even though there was a definitely a learning curve, I was super happy with the result. The two people running the workshop (one of them was the business owner) were both really nice and helpful. A couple of people in the workshop, including my sister and I, went over time but they didn't make us feel bad or rush us, which I appreciated. I will definitely be going back, though probably to make a slightly more simple design:)

what a unique date night! so fun for Valentine’s Day! Great instruction and honestly decently easy to do. Just takes practice! I want to make another rug!
my only problem is i wish they’d allow rescheduling if something came up. i’m glad my husband and i could make it out there but we were worried about driving to American Fork in bad snowy weather and there wasn’t a way to reschedule, if we had needed to.

We had an absolute blast here! The instructors were so sweet. Neither of us knew what to expect but had the best day.
The value was so good for the price. My partners feedback was that he would have paid more for the experience but the challenge is knowing the worth as a first timer. If you're on the fence definitely go for it!
We were ambitious with our design but we got a lot of positive feedback and encouragement from the instructors.
LOVE! Fun night out for any occasion and they do group bookings now too! I love how you choose your design and colors so everything is completely customizable to your liking to make sure you’re making something you want. The entire space is perfection and photo worthy whichever direction you look. Coolest and best new business to hit Utah!
