Fantastic company. I contacted them in November because the tax credit was ending at the end of the year. They got the system up and running by the end of the month. So far it’s going great!

System to our solar that had been installed a couple years ago in order to have a backup and two utilize time of use rates. The result is that we saved $65 per month in electrical charges and we now have a back up Installation went very smooth and very professional. The system is dressed well and works exceptional.

Brett and Laura were so great to work with, the process was smooth and quick. From the first meeting to install, they did all the work to make it easy for us. I highly recommend using them! We also love that they're in the USA. *6 month review* We were supposed to receive a guaranteed $1000 referral check. It took about 5mo and we received $500 for an inconvenience, not the $1000 referral check. Asked multiple times what went wrong, with no response. I got a reimbursement check since my first bill wasn't $0, but the family is referred, still hasn't gotten a reimbursement check. We were told if it wasnt 0 that we would get these. We learned we'll never see a $0 bill. After contacting our electric company, they said a lot of people are being told their bill will be $0, but 1) you'll always have a meter fee, 2) almost every electric company has peak hour fees so even if you have solar, you're not exempt from that. Just confirm with your electric company what charges you'll still have. Only one bill was $0, and I realized that isn't a typical thing. 5 bills since have been $83-126, which is significantly less. Before solar they were $280-500. All that to say, we still have a bill on top of solar payment. Here in 25 years, it'll be worth it.

Greatly disappointed Very disappointed. I had solar installed about a year ago. The system has not performed even close to what was promised. Brett said I would not have to pay on the loan till I had no electric bill. This has not happened. One of the people I referred them to installed their system, for which I was to receive $1000, but it has not happened. I have texted them repeatedly and have not received a response as to the $1000. Brett was very deceptive on the energy credit regarding income tax. It was not as he stated. Any time I contacted Brett, he said he would have someone contact me on Monday (every time I made contact with Brett, he promised me someone would contact me on the following Monday), yet this didn't happen. Less than a year after the solar was installed, a micro inverter went bad, and it took 4 months to get the part. This was the greatest financial mistake I have ever made.

New American Solar is nothing but hollow promises and lies. Do not use them!!!
