Very good food! We did not have reservations but the wait was not long at all. The service was a bit slow for our visit, but I don't hold that against them we were there at lunch time on a Sunday... Crabcake hollandaise, and the chicken and waffles were awesome with a bloody marry.

Large bourbon selection. Great food! Great service! You get what you pay for.
I had the best experience here recently. I took family out and we had the best service. It was our first time here, but everything was delicious. I order salmon...delicious. Others ordered the pork chop, chicken tenders, and a delicious chicken entree. Everything was amazing. My aunt ordered blackberry cobbler and it came with a hefty scoop of ice cream. The ambiance was great, music played in the background. Our server was very attentive and kind. I cannot wait to return and try a different entree. I'll definitely recommend to others and look forward to my return!
Chicken was dry and overcooked
The fresh, sweet potato biscuits are fantastic. Food was good. Gianna did a great job taking care of us.
Save room for the dessert.
My favorite place to dine in Owensboro.
Charming ambience.
Friendly staff.
Delicious food.
Highly recommend.
I can keep this simple. Go there to drink but not to eat.
Bacon wrapped chicken and the meatloaf were so dry and tasteless. Both meals a HUGE disappointment. It was big bill but not value.
Our bartender was our waitress. She was a bit rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. Her bartending skills were superb. What she lacked in personality and ability to serve made up for in heavy pours.
I loved the restaurant's decor and atmosphere. It sucked to have such an overall mediocre experience.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
4/10 because I love the decor and concept
Even with reservation we waited nearly a whole hour for our table. Sweet Potato roles are amazing but meatloaf was very plain no flavor.
I love their shrimp & grits. The basement is also a great atmosphere. I would highly reccomend!
Everything looked/tasted great. Prepared as requested. Server was friendly & attentive. She was knowledgeable about the off menu specials. Everything was clean around us. Well lit and nice having big windows all around. Lemon strawberry crème brûlée was fantastic, as was the peach bourbon crisp and hummingbird cake. We'll definitely be back!
Disappointed
I met a childhood friend here that I had not seen in 10 years. We were excited to see each other, talk and have a nice Sunday lunch. The house is beautiful but is not conducive to having a conservation. Could be the high ceilings or the table configurations. The basement is cool. I did see an elevator. We walked up to the second floor to use the bathroom which was clean. The food was a disappointment. Friend ordered the special, the tomato tart/salad. I ordered a club with sweet potato fries. The fries were thin like onion strings with no actual potato. Difficult to eat. The sandwich was soggy with some type of dressing and fell apart. The tomato dish was meh. The server never refilled drinks. We paid and went shopping. On checking out I did not have my credit card. Thinking back the server did not bring back my credit card and I did not catch it. Called the restaurant and they took my number. Since we were not locals we drove back to the restaurant and the hostess said they found it. So thankful but the ordeal was a pain. Found a great Mexican restaurant called Oscar’s that had great chips/dip, drinks and where we could have a conversation.
Poor
I would have rated this place a one but for the very nice server we had I had the double bone pork chop it was terrible tough and no taste will not return
Amazing lunch, we were traveling through town, great place, busy location, looks like a lot of locals but very efficient.
It was a special event, a wedding shower. I didn't spend any money, I didn't see a menu, we had "finger" food. It was very good, especially the chicken salad.
