We had a really positive experience booking through The Luxury Villa Collection. We actually had to pivot our holiday plans quite last minute from the Middle East, and they made the whole process so much easier than it could have been. They handled all of our queries quickly and clearly, and were genuinely helpful throughout — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Communication was great, and it really felt like we were in good hands the whole way through, which took a lot of the stress out of reorganising everything. We ended up staying at Casa Anelli, which was amazing. It’s modern and really tastefully decorated, and easily big enough for our group of 14 without ever feeling cramped — everyone had their own space. The pool area was perfect and where we spent most of our time, and the kitchen and living areas made it easy for everyone to come together and properly enjoy time as a group. The location was also spot on, with a tennis club and a few great restaurants all within walking distance. Overall, everything came together really smoothly and made it easy to just relax and enjoy the trip. I’ve no doubt the other villas handpicked by The Luxury Villa Collection are just as thoughtfully chosen and set up for a seamless, stress-free stay. Would definitely book with them again — well done.

We booked Hacienda de Madronal 2 through Luxury Villa Collection for a 10-day stay during Christmas 2025 at a cost of approximately $20,000. On arrival, the villa was extremely cold, the heating worked in only a few rooms, the lights were flickering, and after several hours, the power went out completely. The villa was uninhabitable that night, forcing us to relocate to a hotel (which LVC covered). While we expected an older home with character, as advertised, the lack of adequate heating and the electrical issues made the property unsuitable for our stay. Out of concern that the problems could recur, we did not return to the villa. No refund was provided for the unused days, and the villa’s supplier never reached out. LVC did reimburse us for unused services, including groceries and a private chef. We are sharing this to help others make an informed decision. Documentation of these issues is available upon request.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry that your arrival at Hacienda Madronal 2 coincided with an unexpected power outage, particularly during the festive period and in such unseasonably cold and rainy weather. We fully understand how disappointing this must have been after so much anticipation and planning which we had been helping you with since May.

As soon as the issue became apparent, our focus was on ensuring your comfort. The supplier immediately arranged alternative hotel accommodation for your first night at their expense and remained in contact with you, and us, throughout. The electrical issue was resolved early the following morning and the villa was ready for occupation again from midday. Lilli also kindly also spent the day working from the villa to ensure everything was warm, dry and in good order, and you were invited to return and continue your stay as booked.

For clarity and for the benefit of future readers, the first night was refunded in full as soon as the funds were received from the supplier. As the villa was available thereafter, no further refund was applicable and your decision to move on to the hotel resorts you opted to stay in was of course, entirely your choice.

I’m very sorry to read that you felt unsupported as we worked closely with you for many months prior to your arrival and throughout your stay. We include 3 hours of itinerary planning with every booking as a guide, but our Guest Experience team assisted extensively with transfers, pre-arrival shopping, car hire, chefs, itinerary planning to include support around your city break, last-minute rearrangements after you left the villa, and several other items beyond our usual remit, always with the intention of making your holiday as seamless as possible.

We also absorbed costs for chef services that could not be cancelled over the Christmas period and successfully secured refunds on non-refundable services where we could. The supplier kept the heating running 24/7 for the remainder of your reservation in anticipation of your return.

Hacienda Madronal 2 is a villa we know well and has welcomed many happy guests, including over the festive periods. I have personally stayed there with my team and once the temporary issue was resolved, the property was available as described: clean, well maintained, and fully equipped.

We deeply regret that the initial disruption affected your overall impression of the holiday, and we appreciate how much this would have upset your group over the festive break. We are a small, human-run business, so we are also very upset that this resulted in a one-star review, but we remain confident in both the villa and the level of care our team provides to our guests.

Words cannot describe this idyllic villa. Rustic living with luxury combined and with everything you could possibly want and more! Bedrooms to die for. Living areas and kitchen superb, 2 games rooms, pool, football pitch and donkeys!!!! There were 12 of us, all adults, family and partners. We hired cars which were a godsend for to and from the airport and using during the day. Massive shout out though to our concierge Yilber who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. If we asked him anything he replied straight away, if we needed taxis it was all organised by him and we rang him when we wanted to come home. We never had to wait. Anything we wanted he sorted even to the extent of ordering and collecting a personalised birthday cake from a bakery for us. We all thought he was the kindest, friendliest, attentive man and the owners of the villa are so lucky to have him.

Casa Anneli was the most perfect Villa we have ever stayed in, was so suited to our family with so much outdoor living space for everyone, the pool was a great size, and all facilities within the villa were 1st class…. The Chef and his Assistant were very good, and served superb food, 1st class service, and cleared everything before their departure… All of your team, right from making booking, and arranging airport transfers, food shopping, chef service and balloon delivery have all done a 1st class job, and I would have no issue in recommending your Company to anyone…

Fabulous holiday at Villa Kynthia We have just returned from the most fabulous week at Villa Kynthia. It was a palace and had everything we could have wished for. The housekeeper took excellent care of us and cooked a superb paella one night. It was easy to get Ubers into Estepona, where the recommended restaurants do not disappoint. There is so much to do both at the villa and surrounding areas. We loved using the gym and games room as much as the pool. The social spaces were everywhere and had enough seating (in various places) for all 9 of us. You could relax out by the pool on loungers, congregate in the shade of the chill out area, meet for pre-drinks on the terrace as the sun set and eat outside (or in) at the table that could accommodate 12. We couldn't believe the villa would be as good as the photos but it was (and more). We will definitely be back!

The villa itself was a sprawling 6 bed/6 bath mansion that provided us with all the entertainment space we could wish for. Our host was a wonderful lady who could not do enough for us. From undertaking daily house keeping tasks and replenishing pool towels during the week, she also cooked us an incredible paella one night and we enjoyed a fabulous family evening 'at home'. On the nights we went out, it was easy to order taxis via Uber. The restaurants in Estepona were really good and we enjoyed meals at Tikitano, Salduna Beach and The Garden at La Rosa. We were worried that the villa may not be as wonderful as it looked on the website but it most certainly went beyond our expectations and lived up to all it promised. We will definitely be using LVC to book another holiday in the near future.

We had a fabulous time at Casa Chica!! The villa was absolutely perfect in every way, it had everything we needed. We were there for 50th birthday celebrations, and the concierge left us 2 bottles of champagne and a balloon - so thoughtful! The outside space was incredible, we really enjoyed just chilling out by the pool by day. The location is also perfect, quiet, but also being just 10 minutes walking distance to all the bars/restaurants in Puerto Banus was just what we wanted! Would highly recommend for a family or friends holiday.

We spent a wonderful week vacation for our family of five adults and two children, in Villa Lucy. Lisa who recieved us, took care of all we needed and was extremely responsive to all of our requests and questions. We paid extra for heating the pool and it was definitely worth it! The villa's kitchen had everything our foody adult children needed in order to cook gourmet meals for all of us. Nearby there are great restaurants and beaches that we enjoyed walking and driving to. If you drive a big car, expect a very tight parking maneuver to get into the villa. We didn't bother and parked outside on the street Definitely very highly recommended.
