Wonderful ☹ Only issue is that they do not have a family room

I have no specific criticism about my stay but think Lemmon Tree charges above its status. ☺ Plenty of what I assumed to be welcoming messages in advance, just they all seemed the same. Check in excellent. Room clean & everything worked. Bed & furnishings in good condition. ☹ Room stuffy & poor ventillation, my stay was over a humid summer time. Room small, no room to put a bag or case. Breakfast OK, service polite but slow, very limited range especially as place fully booked. No startters i.e. cornflakes or fruit juice in general buffet stuff. Being a plumber got toilet to flush easily, others probably cound not. Getting past building into car park difficult.

Ok for what we needed it for ☺ Good location, easy , food good was suitable for what we required. ☹ The room was a little musty, bathroom lino could fo with a replace ( brown stains ) bathroom and furniture a little tired.room quite small. It was OK for a home night stop over for a night out and a bed for the night if I was visiting for site seeing / relax weekend I would be a little disappointed with the room

Wonderful ☺ The dining room and bar were clean and modern. Staff were polite and courteous. A good choice on both breakfast and dinner menus. ☹ The music was a little loud from downstairs and could be heard in our room. TV in the bedroom was too small. It was very difficult to watch. There was a smell of smoke from outside when the bedroom windows were open.

Wonderful ☺ The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and I loved having a window that could be opened. We had booked in for dinner which was delicious and we also had breakfast included. The breakfast was made to order which I much prefer. This hotel is in a really lovely old building. ☹ The property doesn't have a lift so it can be difficult hauling a heavy case up the stairs.

Excellent location and value. ☺ The staff (special shout out to Max and Hannah) were so friendly and accommodating. ☹ Room size was small.

Poor ☺ Location and staff ☹ Toilet hard to flush button was temperamental,very creaky floors , had to tip toe around to save disturbing other residents when needed to go toilet , entering and exiting room , hotel room doors slammed when shutting, could hear residents coming and going due to hallway floors creaking and their doors banging , excessive damp problem blistering on walls in corner by bed really bad , just been painted over instead of treated and refurbished , bed pillows hard , no air con , had to have window open so outside noise could be heard 😴 left in morning more tired than I arrived due to being disturbed numerous times in the night and early morning and overthinking of the damp problem on my health being an asthma sufferer , room 10 !!!!

Excellent experience from booking to check out. Hotel was easy to locate, parking available, staff welcoming and helpful ☺ Except location and beautiful setting ☹ N/A
