I needed emergency glasses as one arm had snapped off mine. And going away on holiday tomorrow.
Called here on a Sunday.
Receptionists were so reassuring.
Luckily the optician Bilal Aziz could fit my lenses in to new frames. He was so helpful sorting my options forward.
Would recommend.
Fantastic opticians. Best in the North East Gwen did a great job at recommending glasses and what lenses to wear. She was so thorough and patient. I walked away with two beautiful pairs of glasses. Very happy with the service. Bilal was very knowledgeable and professional. He also did a very thorough job of testing my eyes and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend! š

Iāve just experienced the best customer service I think Iāve ever had. Wholesome, friendly, professional, honest and not to mention had a laugh!
All I need to say is they have a new family on board. For life! From the time we walked in to the time we walked out WITH NEW Glasses in hand! Yes they were done there while weāre paying. I felt exceptionally looked after.

Amazing service Gwen and Usman couldn't be more helpful. Always come here and this visit is why. I broke my glasses (my fault) came in and left same day with a temporary pair until my prescription was ready, they couldn't be more helpful and put me totally at ease.

I cannot fault the service I received from the Glasses Factory as they were so attentive and certainly not pushy.
I picked up my new glasses and Sunglasses last week and tbh Iām disappointed in them.
I pulled out all the stops and picked the most expensive varifocal lenses they did (without going for the ānamedā lenses). I wanted the best vision I could achieve and tbh my Ā£80 glasses from Asda (including varifocal) are every bit as good if not better.
Near vision is ok and midway is ok too but distance is pretty poor
Itās still early days so going to give it a couple of weeks for my eyes to adjust but if no improvement Iāll go back to the store for advice.
