I had my front door installed in December of 2025. Told that a internal bead required replacing and they would be in touch to arrange replacement. Waited a month, heard nothing after numerous emails. A crack then appeared, I sent emails again with evidence to which they said they would sort out. I rang in March and was told Eric would ring me. The whole of April went by with no correspondence so chased again for an update. I was advised Eric would call on the 11th of May which never happened. Customer's shouldn't have to be chasing for 5-months to rectify what was advised were minor issues.
Review update. 26/0626. Eric attend and carried out the remaining works as promised. If communication had been better this whole ordeal could have been avoided. Updated from 1 star to 3.

This is the 2nd time we've used the front door shop for our improvements for our home. We have a fantastic new front door and now have amazing bi-fold doors which will be nice in the coming months with this nice weather. Avoid this company at all costs. The communication and aftercare have been absolutely appalling from the moment they got our money.
We had a new composite door installed that quickly developed a major fault, repeatedly jamming and either locking us out of our home or trapping us inside. This was an incredibly stressful safety hazard. When we reported it, we were completely ignored. It literally took two full weeks and the threat of legal action and Trading Standards just to get a single response out of them.
When the owner, Eric, and his fitter finally attended, they gave us conflicting excuses, backtracked on parts they had previously promised to supply, and applied a "trial and error" adjustment. They promised to provide a formal written report of their findings and committed to following up to ensure the door was actually fixed.
Since then? Absolute silence. No follow-up, no report, and a total failure to honor their commitments to resolve the issue permanently.
If you want a company that takes your money, installs a faulty product, and then ghosts you until you threaten them with court, use The Front Door Shop. If you want peace of mind, go literally anywhere else.

Our installer attended site promptly and returned on several occasions to adjust the door and monitor its performance in varying conditions, as composite doors can be sensitive to temperature. To be thorough, we also ordered a replacement locking mechanism. We remained in regular contact throughout.

A fantastic 5 star service. Our door was measured up and fitted exactly as described on the days and times arranged. A superb job completed and then tailored to our needs - I had made an error on selecting the correct handle - which was sorted very quickly within the agreed price despite requiring a return visit. Communications excellent all the way through. Would recommend unreservedly.

I’m (WAS) over the moon with the service, lead time and value for money offered by The Front Door Shop. Thank you James for installing the door professionally and leaving site clean and tidy 😘 UPDATE 3 months later …. Unfortunately the weather has improved and this would be a great thing for most of us but in our case when the sun shines on our front door we can’t open the door at all, not sure if this is due to poor quality door or a poor quality multi point door locking system, either way I have not been kept in the loop as to how this is going to be resolved, I think someone is waiting for the 10 year warranty to run out!!!!
