Just stayed the one night, after attending an event with friends, also held here. The staff were all wonderful. Friendly, helpful and they did a great job of taking care of a large group of people. The food was good. The room I had was basic but clean and had everything one could need. Bed was comfy. The Dolphin will be my first choice for any future trips to Wincanton.

We didn’t stay in the hotel however we make yearly visits to Wincanton to meet up with friends. The staff is under new management, who made us feel so welcome, they joined in and the weekend went so smoothly it was over too soon. They remained professional throughout the weekend showing respect to All. A massive Thank You and look forward to coming back ❤️

Booked two rooms to do a weekend at Longleat. Had to breathe in a bit to get through the arch access the car park but really nice rooms and food. The cuddly toys and blankets left on the beds for our kids was a really nice touch. Decent offering on tap at the bar too.

Very good and comfortable stay at the Dolphin Hotel. Friendly staff, good pub and food downstairs. Breakfast was average but not bad. The bed was a bit small but overall a pleasant stay.
