Working with Sarah at The Den has been one of the best decisions I have made for my ballet school. Since joining, the annual revenue of the school has increased, the student numbers have increased and we have been able to add value to our customers experience with us. As well as that, the support, training and guidance have been invaluable, as well as the friendships that have developed with people who truly get you and your business. I love the 9 step road map which is easy to follow and actionable steps that are truly helping me build and grow my dance studio. Highly recommend.

Joining the Den has completely transformed our business and most importantly our business mindset. With Sarah’s help and guidance we have put better systems in place to make our business more efficient. We have gained valuable marketing knowledge, this has enabled us to grow our school from around 170 students to over 300! Before we joined the den we were close to burnout, teaching over 20 classes a week, trying to manage it all with no idea how to be business owners. Now we manage staff, teach just a handful of classes, delegate tasks and work on the business rather than in it all the time. Last year we attended Encore to help plan our summer show. This was so beneficial! We thought we were ok when it came ti show planning but Sarah is in another level of organised and ways to increase profit! We have had a number of 1:1 sessions with Sarah and we love and value her time and expertise. She really takes the time to look and understand your school and what we value. Whatever the problem or issue you can guarantee Sarah has faced it before and has the solution! Can’t recommend the Den enough!! It’s amazing!!

I joined the dance den as I was feeling overwhelmed with my workload running a dance/ theatre school. I decided to join the Den over other similar coaches as I found Sarah extremely down to earth, knowledgeable and friendly. And I was right. In the last year I had a meltdown and she was straight on the phone chatting through ideas and advice. The other members are also there when you need them for advice, ideas or just a general ‘you got this’. The Den offers a Road Map which is a system you follow to help you cut your workload but also grow your school. It covers everything from your goals to marketing, student retention all sorts. We have zoom trainings with specialists in various subjects and co-working sessions. If you’re pondering- don’t. Just join! I really wish I’d found Sarah sooner.

Owning a Dance School can be a lonely place- we are a very niche business! Being part of The Den you always have support network, and a friendly group of people to ask questions!! Sarah is amazing- she gets the journey we are on, and also keeps it real & normal! You have accountability and the Roadmap gives an easy step by step on how to run a dance school- I wish I had this when I first opened!!! I came to the dance Den as part of a sponsorship program to help me grow my dance school and have been warmly welcomed by Sarah and the other members of the group. I'm loving the ideas that I gain that are specific to running a dance school, as sometimes it's good to hear from others doing the same as you, in the same field. I like the accountability and the regular touching base, and coaching that we receive as part of the membership. And the Instant Intake Challenge is a great program to really get you started. Owning and running a dance school comes with a rollercoaster of challenges, feelings, emotions, rewards! Upto a few years ago I managed it single handed and this can be a very lonely place. Having connected with Sarah and The Den, what a magical setup this is. Such a wonderful group of people who are like minded, going though exactly the same. We are NOT alone... Sarah is so well connected with amazing industries and I found that on days when I feel like giving up I remember why I started, why I love what I do, and why WE MATTER!! (22yrs EST and hopefully many more, not giving up yet!!)

I found Sarah and the Dance Den just before lockdown in 2020 and wish I had found her sooner. The fact she has been there and ran a school is so helpful she has all the tools you need to build your school and more. The Den is a great community and it helps that there are other people who have been through similar situations that you can get advice from. The start, steer and scale programme goes into so much detail and helps on so many levels. I aim to really grow my school this year with the help of the Den members and Sarah.

I feel eternally grateful to have found Sarah and The Dance Den. I joined in 2017, 2 years after taking over my business and she has given me the confidence, self-belief and so much more to push my business forwards. She is kind and caring and understands each individual as a person rather than a number. She helps and guides us but also pushes and challenges you when it's needed. I love being part of the Den, the other business owners in there are supportive, non judgmental and we all really help each other out. If you are a dance business owner who wants to grow your business then please consider the dance den! Sarah is such a lovely, down to earth mentor, who's straight talking, practical advice has been so influential to my business. The road map that you get with the membership is also fab - It is so easy to follow with loads of resources and videos to help set up your school in a way that serves you and the life you want. Since joining the den I have learnt so much and implemented so many additional revenue streams/profit boosters due to the advice from the monthly trainings and little tweaks made to my business. It's so lovely to be in the den and connect with so many other amazing studio owners as well! It can be such a lonely job and having a group that 'get it' is the best. Thank you Sarah! X

So glad to have found Sarah and the Den during lockdown. Her support and knowledge at the time was invaluable and several years down the line continues to be. I now feel so much more organised with the running of my school, even in the crazy busy times, and the things that I've implemented mean that when life's curve balls come my way the studio is still able to keep running. I love the way Sarah keeps things updated for us continually so there is always something to help you grow your knowledge and your studio as and when you want to, there is no pressure, but with a wealth of trainings and resources to access, the den is a one stop shop for dance studio owners for all areas of their business. At the heart of this is Sarah herself, such a warm, friendly, genuine person, so kind and caring who genuinely wants the best for each and every one of us, and is always there to lend her support and cheer us on. The den wouldn't be what it is without her x

Running your own dance school can be quite isolating if you have no other staff you can talk to. Joining The Den means I now have colleagues I can bounce ideas off, get support from, share information with and champion in return. I didn’t realise quite how much I’d missed that until I had it again! Thank you Sarah for bringing us all together and motivating us to continually improve and grow. 💜 EDIT: Having been a Den member for some time now I can really appreciate the value of what we get. Not only is there a network of people to turn to whenever you need to ask a question, get an opinion, or even just vent, but there is a wealth of advice and experience that Sarah has put together to help us develop. Her new Start, Scale, Steer programme has everything that you will need for the stage that you are at. She has put together an invaluable package of training at each stage to follow at your own pace to develop your own school in the direction you want to take it. She supports you and challenges you in equal measure to ensure that you are always doing the best thing for you and your school. Despite my best efforts I always found myself working ‘in’ the business, now, with the support of Sarah and The Den I am putting time aside to work ‘on’ the business too. For anyone just starting out or wanting to develop their dance school I would highly recommend Sarah and The Dance Den. Thank you for everything you do for us Sarah

The way I run my dance school has changed SO much since joining the Den! And ALL for the better! I was a teach-dance-first-run-a-business-later kind of dance teacher and I have learned that they are not separate things. We all LOVE teaching the kids, and helping them grow and learn. But now I am confident enough to wear a REAL business owners hat too. Sarah's help and support (along with the other fabulous Den members) has given me the confidence to face the parts of business that I wasn't sure of, and to grow my business successfully, mindfully, and to keep working as I have a wonderful group of people behind me.
