On New Year's Day we had an incredible experience on our custom private tour departing from Playa del Carmen. From start to finish, everything was well organized and thoughtfully planned. Our driver, Benjamin, was professional, friendly, and made the drive very comfortable. Our guide, Limbert, was truly outstanding. At the Mayan ruins of Cobá, we explored the site by bicycle, which made the experience both fun and immersive. Limbert brought the ruins to life with his deep knowledge of Mayan history. He explained the construction of the structures, how the Mayan people lived and governed, their language, customs, religion, and traditional foods. He also shared insights into the modern history of the people of the Yucatán region, which added meaningful context to everything we saw. After Cobá, we visited a beautiful cenote, where we were able to swim and enjoy the experience almost entirely to ourselves. There were very few other tourists, which made it peaceful and unforgettable. I highly recommend these private tours to anyone visiting the area, and I especially recommend Limbert as a tour guide. His knowledge, passion, and storytelling made this one of the best tours we’ve ever taken.

If you’re on the fence about the early pickup, do it. Mariana picked us up at 6:30 AM, and it was the best decision we made. We were among the very first visitors at the Coba temple, allowing us to experience the site in peace before the crowds and the midday heat arrived. The entire day was perfectly planned. A massive highlight was the Cenote visit; Mariana timed it so well that our family had about 20 minutes of completely private time swimming in the water. It felt like our own hidden paradise! A huge shout-out to our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much history with us, but she’s also a fantastic driver. We felt totally safe and comfortable on the road the entire time. If you want a seamless, well-paced, and authentic experience, ask for Mariana. Our family can’t recommend her enough!

Our tour guide Kat and the driver Benjamin were absolutely great. Kat taught us so much about Chichen Itza, the cenote, and the town of Valladolid. Benjamin welcomed us with waters and cold towels after each stop and got us everywhere safely. I highly recommend taking a private tour with this company as it saves you time and you learn more by it being just your group.

Ek Balam Tour We were a group of six adults. Kat was our tour guide. She was personable and incredibly knowledgeable. Benjamin was an amazing driver. They both kept us all entertained throughout the tour. We left our resort early to beat the heat and the crowds. Ben had cold towels waiting for us after our time at the ruins.

Scary Driving Family tour to Ek Balam, Selva Maya and Valladolid with Kat and Benjamin. Everything was fine until the way home when the driver Ben started to drive dangerously. Tailgating 20 feet (3.5 meters) at 50 mph (80 kph) on a wet road is a recipe for disaster.

It was an absolute joy learning about the Mayan culture, Chichen Itza, Valladolid, and Ek Balam today. It was also getting to share different cultural aspects with him as well. As a former quality manager for customer service, I can absolutely advise that 5 out of 5 stars is not nearly as high enough score from. Limbert!

Kat, our tour guide, and Benjamin, our driver, made this a wonderful experience! We did the morning four hour tour. We saw three different cenotes and learned so much! Great private tour for our group of 8 (including two older teenagers). Picked us up and drropped us off at our resort in Playacar. Short drives to each stop. Definitely recommend!!!

My wife is not a confident snorkeller but with help from Luis and Limbert she went out into quite a rough sea to see the turtles and then snorkelled over some deep water in the cenote/caves. We both thoroughly enjoyed the half day trip and would recommend it to anyone. Limbert was a very knowledgeable guide and told us a lot about the history of Mexico on the drive down. Both were quite close to Playa Del Carmen/ Playacar so the longest drive was around thirty minutes. I got some great photos and at the end of the trip we were sent a Google Drive of the photos that Limbert had taken.
