October 10, 2025 Update:
Another excellent service visit by Franco Castro. He continues to impress, especially with his initiative of raising funds for Breast Cancer causes - a very worthy endeavor. See photo with him in pink T-Shirt. Very proud of the young man’s attitude, aptitude, and selflessness. Does a thorough job each time and is honest.
The only issue I have with the company are the pricey upgrades “suggested” (but not pushed, to their credit) by each tech - some kit or upgrade that is “new” and is designed to protect or extend system life! Then the quote arrives by email and each invariably gives you a heart attack when you see the price! Substantially higher than the competition and generally well above the marketplace. The latest quote (“after discount”) was for $2200, for two soft-start kits! Nothing but an inverter that I found can be purchased and installed for hundreds less. Prior to these systems being installed, had zero bells and whistles with our builder-grade York units; ran without trouble for 16 years.
March 14, 2025 Update.
Had maintenance plan semiannual service done today. Josh Cover came by and performed an extremely thorough assessment and service, including filter replacement, condensate line flushing, and inspection, testing, and cleaning of the two units. The most thorough service by far, not that the others were lacking! Great attitude, very customer-focused, knowledgeable of course.
Dec 13, 2024 Update:
Franco Castro showed up to do Winter maintenance on our systems. Excellent work ethic and work! Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, helpful - an excellent ambassador of the company. Likewise, Nicole in Install/Svc- always has gone above and beyond to resolve my issues, including billing issues (she could have fobbed me off to someone in billing; instead she took ownership of the issue, went to billing to discuss and resolve, and communicated promptly back to me on the resolution; superb service!).
Sep 29 2023 Update:
Another hit out of the ballpark by Chill Bros. Called us in time to schedule regular maintenance; the tech, Franco, called ahead of time and arrived promptly to perform work. Did a thorough job - what a humble, polite, professional, knowledgeable young man! Truly enjoyed interacting with him.
2023 Update:
I continue to be impressed with the service provided by this company. All of the techs who have showed up so far have been top-notch! Humble, professional, knowledgeable. Jonan in the recent past for maintenance and Franco just now on a Sunday morning (July 2) to troubleshoot a bit of a condensation from the unit drain lines and assure that all was as expected. Called last afternoon for some urgent service as I noticed water dripping from the outside of the unit drain line - Gabrielle was very prompt in alerting Franco , who called and promised to show up on a Sunday. He called twice to provide ETA; showed up and looked over the unit to make sure nothing was awry. A drain line that needed to be raised a tad was raised, he even helped pour bleach down the drain lines to clear it of any bacterial growth…
2021 and 2022 Review:
Start to finish, excellent experience with the Chill Brothers team. From the moment I was contacted unsolicited by Brandon, through sales discussions with Johnny and subsequently with Joel Stewart and Jeremiah Lopez, the interaction was very friendly and professional. From initial quotes from Johnny to installation, over 6 months had elapsed and in the interim, I obtained additional bids for comparison purposes. Went back to Chill Bros due to their friendly persistence, knowledge and willingness to take the customer’s concerns into account. Finally, brought another friend who also was in the market, and together, we struck a deal with Joel and Jeremiah for replacement of 4 compete units (two houses).
Installation date was readily available and pre-install visit by James went well. Gilbert Soto and crew did the installation and their work was meticulous, clean and very professional. It was a pleasure working with that team.

JJ Robinson was able to come out and give a second quote for an AC repair and give a more thorough breakdown of the issue and what options were available. He was kind enough to help find affordable financing for the project

Installation took MUCH longer than originally indicated (installers were here until 11:30pm and had to come back the next day for an additional five hours. Wiring and insulation was left a mess, insulation somehow got into the ducting (creating a mess throughout the house). Salesperson not very helpful beyond the heavy sell.
