Very knowledgeable and funny guide! Learning about reading the rocks and how lava flowed to make them was interesting. Sitting in total darkness was exciting.
Very informative and knowledgeable guide. Our group size was 14 which was fine. Tour is in English. Dress warmer than what you think you need! Temp is around 30 F and you are standing a lot while explanations are given.
For 9k isk, I kinda expected more.. The tour is roughly an hour, and depends on your time, the group can get huge (more than 10). If that's the case, you might not hear your guide well and it doesn't help that English might not be their native language so the explanations isn't really clear. I would prefer more walking than explaining. But it's an alternative activity if the weather is bad.
Great tour with a good guide. Learned a lot about lava formations. It was quite cold by the end of the tour. Dress warmly. Buy your tickets in advance. There was quite a rough road in and out of the property, for a good long stretch.
Dress warm and you will have a great time too. Staff was amazing and friendly, Holly was the best guide.

Unglaublich tolle Erfahrung mit absoluten Top-Guides!
Die Höhle an sich ist schon sehr fasziierend. Durch die tolle Führung wird sie aber zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis. Unser Guide Jan hat uns mit seiner freundlichen und witzigen Art sehr viel spannendes über die Höhle, ihre Entstehung, die Geschichten dahinter und auch über Island und seine Leute erzählt. Das Erlebnis von absoluter Dunkelheit war ein Highlight (unglückliche Wortwahl..). Absolut empfehlenswert!! Warm anziehen, es wird WIRKLICH kalt!
Eher zufällig entdeckt und spontan eine Tour gebucht. Unsere Guide Holly hat sehr viel erzählt, aber spannend, interessant und mit grosser Begeisterung. Die Dimensionen der Lavahöhle sind beeindruckend und die Tour absolut empfehlenswert. Wichtig ist nur, sich warm anzuziehen, denn unten ist es kalt und feucht.
Non è frequente percorrere una caverna dentro una colata lavica. Qui la visita è organizzata molto bene e le guide spiegano in maniera dettagliata tutti gli aspetti geologici. Forse un po' troppo cara. Comunque molto interessante. Attenzione alla temperatura che nella caverna scende parecchio. Copritevi per bene.
