Unglaublich tolle Erfahrung mit absoluten Top-Guides!
Die Höhle an sich ist schon sehr fasziierend. Durch die tolle Führung wird sie aber zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis. Unser Guide Jan hat uns mit seiner freundlichen und witzigen Art sehr viel spannendes über die Höhle, ihre Entstehung, die Geschichten dahinter und auch über Island und seine Leute erzählt. Das Erlebnis von absoluter Dunkelheit war ein Highlight (unglückliche Wortwahl..). Absolut empfehlenswert!! Warm anziehen, es wird WIRKLICH kalt!
Eher zufällig entdeckt und spontan eine Tour gebucht. Unsere Guide Holly hat sehr viel erzählt, aber spannend, interessant und mit grosser Begeisterung. Die Dimensionen der Lavahöhle sind beeindruckend und die Tour absolut empfehlenswert. Wichtig ist nur, sich warm anzuziehen, denn unten ist es kalt und feucht.
Non è frequente percorrere una caverna dentro una colata lavica. Qui la visita è organizzata molto bene e le guide spiegano in maniera dettagliata tutti gli aspetti geologici. Forse un po' troppo cara. Comunque molto interessante. Attenzione alla temperatura che nella caverna scende parecchio. Copritevi per bene.

Fantastic informative tour with a great guide
Fantastic and informative visit deep into the Vidgelmir lava cave. Our guide Joy was an absolutely joy! Very well informed, easy to understand and kept a good pace. We were lucky and had 6 in our group, others had 15-20. There is a slightly tight entrance to the cave where you have to duck a little but it's short and easy to do. We went 700m deep along a wooden walkway. There are multiple staircases but as someone with a knee condition, it was very manageable and not rushed. Lots of interesting facts along the way about the different 'rooms' with joy pointing out various colours of the rocks and different lava formations. Fun section at the end where all the lights get switched off and you're in complete darkness for minutes!
Bardzo polecam tą atrakcje, świetne miejsce żeby dowiedzieć się ciekawych rzeczy o tunelach lawowych na Islandii. Wspaniały przewodnik (chłopak z Irlandii) bardzo fajnie opowiadał o całym obiekcie!
