I had a wonderful experience with Lisa when shopping for my wedding dress. Lisa listened to what I liked and my style and the first dress I tried on was my dress! Lisa was very patient with me whilst I made sure the dress was right for me, but I knew it was the one. As a plus size girl, I was really anxious about wedding dress shopping. I feared none would fit or I’d be held in by reams of fabric and pins but it was the exact opposite, in the end, I had multiple dresses to choose from. Thank you Lisa for putting me at ease and making me feel like anything was possible. 5*.

The most amazing experience with Lisa at the Bridal Affair. From the moment I stepped in I felt at ease and comfortable. Lisa was so understanding and accommodating and found me the dress of dreams. Im so excited to wear my dress on the big day and feel so happy and comfortable, and it’s all down to Lisa! Xx 1 and half years later… Joe and I got married at All Saint’s Church, Ledsham and had our reception at my family farm. The weather was on our side as well! I felt so comfortable and confident in my dress, it was head to toe perfect. It was a dress that I thought I would never go for and a complete surprise to a lot of guests, but they ADORED it!! My experience with Lisa start to finish was so positive, she made my Mum and I feel so welcome, answered any questions we came with and most importantly made me feel like a million dollars. I was a little apprehensive about the whole process of shopping for my dress and had absolutely no idea what it was that I was looking for in a wedding dress. However, after speaking to Lisa for 10/15 minutes, she pulled out the absolute perfect dress of my dreams. It perfectly captures everything I could have wanted in a dress and something I’m unbelievably excited about wearing. Lisa turned what I expected to be a very stressful experience into the most relaxed part of planning my entire wedding! 5* isn’t enough, I’d give far more if I could! Had the most wonderful experience. My first time trying on wedding dresses and I fell in love with my first dress. The whole experience was so relaxed and magical. Would 10/10 recommend.

I was quite apprehensive around wedding dress shopping but Lisa made the experience so easy and lovely! I tried on 2 dresses but I already knew that the first dress I tried on was the one! It’s very clear Lisa has a lot of passion for her job and she’s wonderful at it! I can’t wait to go back for my fitting! The shop is beautiful and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding dress!

What a lovely little shop with the most beautiful selection of wedding dresses! Today I found my dream dress and the whole experience was made by Lisa, who was so accommodating and listened to everything I was looking for in a dress. She was patient, friendly and suggested so many beautiful dresses to try. Honestly couldn't have asked for better experience. This little treasure pot is a must if your looking for your dream dress! I'm beyond excited to pick up my dress in a few months time - Thank you Lisa!!

Lisa was fantastic, as per the other reviews and I echo everyone’s positive comments. I felt anxious about dress shopping and The Bridal Affair was actually the first of 3 appointments with my bridesmaids. Lisa is approachable and reassuring and instantly made me at ease. I had in mind what I wanted and really knew what I didn’t want, Lisa took the time to explain what shapes and cuts work and what would suit my body type. The second dress I tried on was the one - Lisa knew instantly making my girls close their eyes and going on their reaction I knew Lisa had worked her magic. I said yes to the dress in 40 minutes - despite dreaming about my wedding dress for 25 plus years! We cancelled the rest of the appointments and enjoyed the time reviewing my dress and our experience. Highly recommend and really happy to support Lisa and her local business! Thank you. Poppy x

Can't recommend Lisa at The Bridal Affair enough. She made me feel so comfortable and ease at my appointment, which I was feeling quite anxious about beforehand as always hated dress shopping. She knew exactly what dress would suit and complement my body type and size, as I ended up going with the first wedding dress she picked out for me! She also knew exactly what accessories would complete the look. I felt like a princess on the day and everybody loved my dress. Thank you Lisa!
