We would thoroughly recommend the loft rooms. They recently completed our loft extention which included a new bedroom and en-suite. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, they ticked all the boxes and it was a real team effort from start to finish.
Mihai was our team lead and made the entire process effortless. His attention to detail, communication, tidiness and the quality he completed all work to made everything so straightforward. We can’t thank him enough for everything he did. The project ran exactly to time, which was really important to us - all thanks to his project management and coordination skills. The site team arrived on time every morning without fail, worked hard and were very friendly.
Helen, Mellisa and Cara from the office made everything so straightforward. Paul provided a detailed and competitive quote, which covered the full project accurately and made budgeting straightforward. Rich regularly visited site and helped work through some technical items, he’s cool, calm and focused on resolving any hurdles that cropped up.
All the trades people were clean, polite and professional. A special shout out to the tiler and plasters who did such a great job and their finish was 1st class. The electricians, Plumber, Decorators (Dave), Wardrobes (Anthony + team) and mastic man were so easy to work with and all delivered such good quality.

We are delighted with the hip to dormer loft conversion undertaken by The Loft Room. We were particularly impressed by Adrian’s skill and attention to detail. Everything he did, was undertaken with precision and care, as if it were his own house. His carpentry skills in particular were top notch. Adrian was fully committed to the project from the get-go and we never had concerns about progress - far from it, he worked non-stop with an impressive work ethic. Adrian was assisted latterly by Andrei who was ‘learning the ropes’, who as well as being a grafter, also had excellent customer facing skills. The additional trades working on the project were good. We were also very impressed by the scaffolders. All in all, we were very satisfied with the project and the dedicated team lead by Adrian.
From the moment we instructed The Loft Room, their service has been nothing short of excellent. Paul was so helpful at the initial stages, going through our ideas and offering his advice. His manner and knowledge was what stood The Loft room apart from other providers we had contacted.
We were appointed Dragos as our Project Manager and we met in person before the works commenced. We were added to a Whatsapp group which was invaluable throughout the build on keeping up to date on time lines and queries. Dragos helped us through every step of the way and provided us with some great ideas that we hadn't considered ourselves. He was available whenever we had any questions or queries and his professionalism made the whole process, seamless. Constantin & Catalin were the most conscientious builders we have ever dealt with, and we've dealt with a lot both personally and through work. They were extremely polite, neat & tidy, fast, helpful and thorough workers…. for the most part, we hardly knew they were there.
The expertise that the Loft Room have is clear with every member of the team we dealt with including the lovely office based team….

We had been looking to convert our loft space for a number of years and due to the roof structure had been advised in the past that traditional steels would prove difficult.
We then heard of Telebeam and after having a site survey carried out and knowing it was possible, we then needed to find the right company to do it. Andrew from Telebeam recommended The Loft Room and what a great recommendation they turned out to be. From the break down of the quote all the way through to the build was very well managed.
We had Vio as our team leader and I cannot recommend him enough. Vio and his team were amazing. Vio’s attention to detail is incredible. He really cares about the service he provides and the quality of the work. He works like a trojan and the quality of work is 5 star.
I can also say that the electricians led by Stuart, the plumbers led by Jake, the tilers led by Dave, Dave the Decorator, Dom the Mastic Man, Ben who sorted out a chip in the shower tray, were all so friendly, tidy and professional.
The Loft Room also recommended Advantage Air Systems for air conditioning and Adam and Charlie can be added to the list of great people to work with.
Overall, I can highly recommend The Loft Room to anyone thinking of transforming their loft space. We couldn’t be happier.

Loft Conversion - Thames Ditton
It's a daunting prospect going ahead with major building work, but I have to say that using The Loft Room made it so easy and painless. The team at Head Office were always on hand to respond to questions and queries, but it was the continued help and support from Iulian on site that really made the difference. From day one Iulian (and his right hand man Claudio) put us at ease, and nothing was too much for him to make things as smooth as possible for us. Throughout the job Iulian was able to guide and advise along the way, but lets not overlook the skill and workmanship he also bought with him. I have to say, the quality of work from Iulian, along with all of the other supporting trades, was second to none. My wife and I were blown away with the results, and we have two very happy little girls now living in two wonderful bedrooms crafted by Iulian and The Loft Room.

When we decided to increase the size of our home with a loft room we researched 3 companies that had been recommended to us.
Paul was the last to visit and we were impressed straight away with his relaxed friendly manner, knowledge and professionalism. Another bonus was when he said we should be able to keep the small bedroom as the other companies said we would lose it as the staircase would need to go up there.
Dragos was our project manager and we had the pleasure of Catalin and Giovanni converting our loft to a very high standard. Dragos set up a WhatsApp group to keep us informed of timings and answer any questions we had throughout the build. We found the expertise of Dragos very helpful, he suggested things we hadn’t thought about and were so happy we took his advice!
Everything went incredibly smoothly from start to finish. They have a fantastic team of trades people who work with them. Dave the decorator has carried out an amazing job, definitely a perfectionist I’m glad to say.
I was worried about the disruption to our neighbours but they said they hardly noticed anything which was such a relief.
Finally the communication from the lovely ladies in the office, Maggie, Helen and Melissa was exceptional and reassuring that there were no hidden costs.

When deciding to undertake a loft conversion we conducted a lot of research and obtained 4 quotes. The Loftroom stood out from the start with their impressive portfolio. We had the initial meeting with Paul to discuss our new living space and what could be achieved.
The process was documented all the way so we knew at which stage we were at, at all times. Our build team Dragos, Alex and the guys were fantastic, they made excellent progress so quickly that we had our first Loftroom meeting inside our loft area within 8 working days. It’s hard to visualise the living area but Dragos was so good at advising and helping us see what could be achieved and made us feel very confident.
We were concerned with the build going on that it would affect our neighbours however we had such positive feedback on how great the Loftroom team have been which to us was so important.
All the trades worked so well with The Loftroom and everything was never an issue if we made slight changes to the plans.

We recently had our loft converted by Loftroom, and the experience was outstanding from beginning to end – thanks in large part to Lulian, our builder and project manager, and the wider team who supported the project throughout.
Lulian was an absolute pleasure to work with. From day one, he approached the build with a calm confidence, clear communication, and a genuine “nothing is too much trouble” attitude. His attention to detail, excellent time management, and ability to keep things moving smoothly made a huge difference. No issue was ever too big or too small – he handled everything with patience and professionalism, always offering practical solutions and keeping us in the loop at every step.
What really stood out was how much pride Lulian took in the work. He treated the project as if it were his own home, ensuring every aspect met a high standard. His team respected the space, worked diligently, and kept things tidy and organised, which made the whole process far less disruptive than we expected.
In addition to Lulian, Claudio was one of the most hard working, polite assistant I have ever seen. The wider Loftroom team were also incredibly helpful and responsive. The Loft Room came recommended from people we knew, who were very pleased with the results from their project.
We had a few quotes from different companies, one was cheaper and another dearer but decided to go with Loft Room, as they were reasonably priced, but also were assured that the whole team of workmen needed for our project always worked together and stay until the job is done under the supervision of one Project Manager. Our PM was Marius and he co-ordinated the whole job with scaffolders, plasterers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, decorators and skip suppliers with the assistance from the office of Melissa and Helen. Everything was coordinated perfectly with minimal wasted time.
Marius and the entire team were very efficient, keeping the project on track and ensuring everything was done to our expectations. He set up a WhatsApp group with us and always answered our questions despite the time, day or night. Marius was a pleasure to work with, always listening to our needs, offering valuable input. Their work rate was exceptional, always arriving on-time and doing a hard days work during the week and weekend where needed. The initial build was completed in an amazing 4 weeks, without compromising quality.
We are thrilled with the end results and highly recommend The Loft Room for their professionalism and exceptional work.
Melissa and Helen and the team in the office were similarly efficient and helpful, taking us through all the admin and dealing with our various questions and issues cheerfully and promptly. Especially when coordinating and engaging architects, building control, contracts and surveyors.

Would highly recommend The Loft Room. We just had our loft converted which included dropping all the 1st floor ceilings to make the space and putting up a wall in the downstairs for fire regs. Managed to fit us in on a very tight timescale and cannot believe how fast the work was carried out. Melissa was brilliant answering all my questions in the early stages and whilst waiting for permitted development and I'm so grateful to her. Jon (the recommended architect) was super quick with his drawings and really helpful with follow up queries. Finally, Alex, the team lead on site was absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend him highly enough and feel very lucky that he was on our job! He carried out the work so fast and to such a high standard. We had a fantastic experience with The Loft Room and couldn’t be happier with how our loft conversion turned out. After researching several companies, The Loft Room immediately caught our attention due to the quality of their designs and the level of detail shown in their past projects. Eddie was brilliant, fast, always on time and worked efficiently. Always checked with me if there was anything to be decided. Also offered great design input and practical advice along the way. The various tradespeople involved were all professional, polite, and completed everything to a very high standard. Helen handled the administrative side. However, all the people from the office were lovely, quick to respond, and regularly checked in to make sure things were on track and we were satisfied.

Having had previous experience of not-so-great building contractors, we were very keen to make sure the contractor we chose to do our loft was the right one. The Loft Room didn’t disappoint!
The initial design, planning etc. was very smooth with everything taken care of for us – we made some changes to the initial drawings and the architect was very accommodating and quickly produced new drawings incorporating these.
When work started scaffolding went up and materials were delivered exactly as planned. In terms of the work itself, Edi and his colleague were excellent throughout, and it was incredible to see the amount of progress they were able to accomplish each day – our only ‘complaint’ is that sometimes things happened almost too quickly and we found ourselves having to make decisions and purchase fittings etc. earlier than we had expected, which occasionally caught us on the hop.
Edi turned up every day, kept the house and surroundings clean and tidy, and kept us informed of progress at all times. Decisions that were needed on a sometimes-daily basis were discussed, and carried out exactly as requested. Inevitably there were the odd things that needed changing as work went on, but this was never too much trouble and corrections were made quickly and without any fuss.
Amazingly, Edi actually finished the build about three weeks earlier than originally quoted, and the standard of the finished work is fantastic. We were asked to make a list of snagging items at the end and genuinely, we could only find one minor thing (a small hole in a ceiling) and this was immediately rectified.
We also want to thank the sub-contractors who were all great – Dave the decorator, Paul the tiler, Jake the plumber, Andy the electrician and Dom the mastic man – they and their teams also did a brilliant job of the final finish. Thanks as well to Helen, Melissa and the team in the office who made sure any questions were answered quicky and looked after all the admin side of things.
In summary, we couldn’t be happier with The Loft Room and Edi. I’m sure he’ll always remember us for the large free-standing bath that was stuck in our hallway for most of the build, but we’ll remember him for his professionalism and high standard of workmanship!
