Das Einzelapartment ist ideal für mein Studium, da es klein ist und die Ausstattung hat alles was man braucht. Von der Hochschule ist es etwas weiter weg, ca. 20 Minuten, die 6 Richtung Flughafen fährt über die Wilhelm-Kaisen-Brücke. Die Haltestelle Universität Süd ist gegenüber der Straße vom Wohnheim. Es halten auch Busse direkt vor dem Eingang (aus Richtung Innenstadt). Die Mitarbeiter sind professionell und gehen auf Fragen/ Anliegen sofort ein. Alles ist sehr gut organisiert, und das Gebäude ist sauber und ordentlich. Es gibt viele Aktionen, war positiv überrascht.
Fizz Berman is truly excellent. The reception staff are very professional and welcoming, especially Rene, who is outstanding. He is extremely kind, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Thanks to him and the reception team, my stay was even more enjoyable.
I am an international student and have been living at THE FIZZ Hamburg Hammerbrook for a little over two months now, and it already feels like a warm and welcoming home. I live in a single studio, which is modern, well‑equipped and very comfortable, giving me a quiet private space to study and relax after a long day.
What I appreciate most is the international and friendly community here – the shared spaces like the common room, rooftop terrace and community kitchen make it easy to meet new people and quickly feel part of life in Hamburg.🤝 The events organized by the residence are always fun and creative, and they have really helped me learn more about German culture and connect with both local and international students.
The convenient location close to public transport and the city center also makes my everyday life much easier, whether I am going to university or exploring the city.🚆 Living here gives me a strong sense of security and support, which is very important for my study abroad journey, and I truly believe that my time at THE FIZZ will become a beautiful and unforgettable part of my master’s life in Germany.💖

I’ve lived here for about three months now. I love the place. Eileen and Marie are very nice and constantly trying to improve the accommodations. Even in the time I’ve lived here, nearly every major complaint has been resolved. They also now have a gym, which is very nice! Now if only they installed a hot tub or billiards table… :)
They host events usually once a month, but most of them are limited that they book up within a few hours of the posters being put out. (I think they are trying to work on making them able to be larger). If you do happen to participate though, you will make great friends.
The website does not let you tour the laundry rooms for some reason, it’s the only thing I couldn’t tour online when I was looking. There are two: one on the first floor that has four washers and four dryers and one on the third floor with three washers and three dryers. The cost is reasonable, 3 euro for wash and 3.5 for dryer.
The biggest downside for me is the rent price…I recommend waiting to sign the lease until about a month before the semester starts…you can get a 20% last-minute discount that they’ll offer for most of the semester until it gets too close to the next one….I do wish I’d have known that ahead of time. I am an international student who wanted to make sure I got housing before arriving here in Germany to try to reduce my stress levels, and this was basically the only decent option. There were no reviews when I moved in, but I hope this helps anyone who is in a similar situation :)

Wohne seit ein paar Monaten im THE FIZZ Hammerbrook und fühle mich richtig wohl! Die Apartments sind modern und haben alles, was man braucht – perfekt, wenn man neu in Hamburg ist oder einfach easy wohnen will.
Die Lage ist auch top – man ist super schnell in der City oder an der Uni. Und das Team vor Ort ist mega freundlich und hilft immer weiter, wenn mal was ist.

Ich kann diese Wohnungen sehr empfehlen! Die Lage ist ideal, nahe an einer S-Bahn-Station und sehr zentral gelegen. Trotzdem ist es in einer ruhigen Umgebung mit nur wenig Lärm. Die Wohnungen bieten für Studentenwohnheime viel Platz und haben ein heimliches Design, also obwohl die Preise eher hoch sind lohnt es sich.

This is a very good living environment! It's very convenient to go somewhere because it is very close to the subway. The house is well-equipped inside. There are also a gym, a cinema and other facilities. Many interesting activities are held here, providing many social opportunities. The decoration is very modern and it's definitely worth staying in.

Ich wohne gerade im The Fizz Hammerbrook und bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet – perfekt für Studierende. Besonders gefallen hat mir die tolle Community und die regelmäßigen Events, bei denen man schnell neue Leute kennenlernt. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top: zentral, gut angebunden und trotzdem ruhig. Das Team vor Ort ist freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Insgesamt ein super Wohnheim, das ein angenehmes und unkompliziertes Wohnen ermöglicht. Empfehlenswert!

Das Singleapartment hat eine gute Ausstattung, mit kleiner Küchenzeile und Badezimmer. Die Studentenapartments haben eine schöne ruhige Lage in dem Büroviertel von Hammerbrook und sehr Zentral von Hamburg. Man braucht nur eine Haltestelle mit der S-Bahn und schon ist man beim Hauptbahnhof. Das Wohnheim besitzt unteranderem eine sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Rezension, die einem bei Problem super Weiterhilft. Der Preis von den Apartments ist für komplett möbeliert jedoch sehr hoch, besonders wenn in diesen Wohnanlagen Student*innen und Praktikant*innen unterkommen sollen.
Im großen und ganzen ein wunderschönes, gut ausgestattetes Studentenwohnheim mit perfekter Lage und einer hilfsbereiten Rezension. Hingegen ist der Preis gerade für Studenten/Praktikanten-standarte zu hoch.

I’ve been living at the fizz for three months, and so far my stay has been wonderful. I love my apartment, it’s very modern and comfortable.
The staff are very friendly, and the building is very safe. It’s also a very convenient location, close to the sbahn station, and there are also nearby supermarkets. My only complaint would be that the shared spaces are sometimes too dirty, despite the staff’s constant attempts at sending notices to the residents and frequently cleaning the spaces, but many people simply have no respect towards shared spaces.
