I spent nearly a week at Eco Retreat, and it was a life-changing trip. It’s a very minimalist place, which helps you move away from city distractions and get closer to nature. It is the perfect spot for self-discovery.
Kiran is a truly inspiring man. He runs a charitable trust to support differently-abled children, and seeing his passion was powerful. He showed me that a meaningful life is built on helping others, not just on wealth. I also felt very at home thanks to Pratika and Kiran’s mother. Their hospitality and the food they prepared made the whole experience feel special

We had a wonderful time at the Eco Retreat Anahata. We stayed there for one week and we really enjoyed the beautiful place Kiran has created. In the morning we always did a Yoga Session and afterwards we meditated in the Garden. Then we went for breakfast which was always a big highlight. We got three warm meals a day. Always freshly cooked and authentic indian food. We really loved the food. Afterwards in the afternoon we spent some time with special children which was also a pleasure. After sunset we went into our rooms. In the huge garden you can see a lot of beautiful birds and feel and enjoy the silence and the peace of the place. Kiran also supports special children and gives them a place to engage with others which is great and really needed. During our time we felt like a part of the family. If you are looking for a peaceful place to do some Yoga and Meditation you are at the right place. I can only recommend going there and experience it by yourself.
We had a beautiful week at Anahata. Kiran created an amazing place here with a very peaceful garden. There is a lake close by, many trees and cows around. This makes the place perfect for meditation and connecting with yourself.
Every morning Kiran gave us Yoga classes and afterwards his wife made us a very tasty herbal tee. The people here around are very kind and Kiran took good care of us. The food we got every day, was very fresh and super tasty. We really enjoyed it a lot. I still dream of the dosas and the bhindi Kirans mother made for us on our last day or the jackfruit curry which we got on our first day!!!;) Another highlight were the tender coconuts we always got fresh from the tree.
Kirans place is a very good place to calm down, slow down and take a break from all the stress!! The apartment where we stayed was very simple but we had everything we needed! Kiran takes care of children with special need. We also got to know some of them. Every day we spent some time with them and we had a lot of fun together!! And we also learnt a lot from them- like knotting techniques for example;)
I can highly recommend Kirans place!
Good
We are spending amazing time here! Kiran is working hard to make this place peaceful, calmness and away of the loudness. He's a great guy personally and for the community, helping the people in need. 5 stars for this place and big THANK YOU for you Kiran
Our stay at the ashram was maybe short, but we feel like part of the family now. Kiran and Pratika took such good care of us, welcoming us to their home with so much love. Kiran is a very genuine person, and he has an intuitive understanding of yoga that is hard to come by, we learned a lot from him. The property is magical, Kiran has planted trees with an intention that you can feel. It’s a birdwatchers paradise, we saw so many different species. Definitely a place to come if you need a space to breathe, to learn and to relax deeply with yourself.

One of the best weeks of my life!! I came to The eco retreat with my partner to try and relax away from the hustle of normal life and this is the perfect place to do it. Kiran welcomed us straight away and is one of the nicest people I have ever met. His centre is surrounded in beautiful nature with sacred trees and a massive lake. Each day we would wake up at 7am for Yoga and then I would spend each day reading, having great conversations and helping out with the disabled children who have very very limited opportunities in India but Kiran is working so hard to provide a place for them to come and express themselves, learn and work. It really gives them a purpose each day! I did many things for the first time in my life at the eco retreat such as watch a man climb a tree to get us coconuts to drink was amazing! The food is perfect too pretty much everything you eat is grown in the garden, it’s so fresh. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s a must visit for a truly special experience!!!
Anahata.. the hearth chakra. WAOW !! Absolute gem in India's broad spectrum of possibilities...
I've stayed with Kiran for 3 weeks back in 2020.. I've found everything there : friends, little brothers & sisters, dedication, love, compassion, amazement.
I've found my own light by staying with these young kids, playing & laughing with them.. just living a simple yet meaningful life.
My words cannot translate the gratitude I have towards this place and Kiran for what it means in this world. This place is a sanctuary. Life in its whole is welcome and cherished here.
While writing these lines, teardrops come tingle my cheeks on both sides.
I've never felt so good, or so meaningful. I've never looked so good either hahah !!
This place reveals the beauty that lays inside you, and splashes the darkness out with caring lightness.
These kids.. are so awesome, they have taught me so much. I love them !!
Kiran (the owner) is a ROCK , SOLID AND GROUNDED, UNSHAKEABLE ,and with an extraordinary lust for improvement and greatness.. he has been so very kind and encouraging with me. I wish I be there with him now, and learn from his wisdom and knowledge about oneself.
To be very honest. The only reason I left this place is because I knew that if I stayed 3 more days here : i would've stayed there for a very very long time. And this idea frightened me.. *have I really found my rightful place on this earth?* my ego could not accept this and I left because I was scared I could finally experience genuine happiness..
My name is Thomas and I wish to deliver this message : if you are seeking for anything in life, if you feel lost or prisoner of something that holds you, there is a path you can take to existential freedom..
This path is the hearth.
Does not matter how what when or where.
If you follow what your hearth indicates you, you will never ever again feel like you did the wrong choice. Our hearth is the inner compass that guides our soul to the riverside of our home.
So if your hearth is telling you to come here, let it be. Come, relax, grow, share, laugh and live. Live for the ones who survive. Live for the dead. Live for life.
I have so much to share, and to tell but words are lacking for this life changing experience.
Huge respect , and much love to Kiran and his great family. --- kiran if you read me, kiss to the kids (hope you enjoy the percussion yet ;) --
Forever in my hearth
Thank you
Thomas from Belgium
Wow. What an amazing place! I stayed 14 days with Kiran and Pratika in this beautiful landscape full of nature and culture. Meditation, yoga and hindu life lessons in such a profound relaxing admosphere, with cows freely grazing around me, and the most exotic birds flying above. The rooms are very basic and the food is too, but it's definitely made with love and somehow quite diverse and oh so tasty! That's the cooking of the sweetest Indian woman there is (Kiran's mom). Then there are the lovely children with mental/physical disabilities and when you give then genuine human contact you get the sweetest smiles back:) Pratika teaches the other children from the school next door with such discipline and love. Those children can't stop but yell enthousiasticly when they see you 'Namaste sir! Goodmorning! How are you?' The village is busy and ashrams are making quite some noise in the early morning, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Kiran is an amazing guy who has a lot of charisma. He showed me around in the elderly home he created, and took me to the ashrams and festivities. He works very hard and for great cause. There is no doubt about it that he is a good man, with a good heart and I've learned quite an important lesson from him. To trust that life will unfold itself, you only have to chose the path with right intentions (The seed you plant will grow by itself).
So yeah, if you want an unforgetable cultural and spiritual experience, this is the place to go!
Anahata was an authentic Indian experience for us. This is responsible tourism at its best. Kiran has opened a centre for handicapped children; his dedication to them and the progress that the children have made is truly inspiring. With its idyllic lakeside setting, Anahata is a peaceful relief from the chaos of the well-worn tourist circuit and a perfect introduction to authentic Indian village life. Simple, mindful living is the core philosophy, and the week we spent there on two separate occasions was marvelously life-affirming - celebrate the sunrise around the fire, yoga in the banana grove shala, coffee in the village, fresh organic breakfast, and interacting with the children and elderly who Kiran has taken in.
When I used to read reviews from people saying that they want to come back again I was sceptical but here I am on my last day and already planning for my second visit. Kiran has built a wonderful and inspiring place for kids with special needs and for the community as well. The children get to learn and play in a spectacular place with breathtaking natural views. Some kids need special treatment like physiotherapy or a special massage and kiran is happy to provide all of that from his heart. My journey to India was specifically to visit Anahata healing centre and I have to say I am so thankful I did. Kiran put me on a detox programme and I particularly enjoyed the sunrise yoga and meditation sessions with Kiran. I even got to take some cooking lessons. All of these were provided in a homely and cozy place where you really leave all your materialistic and stressful life behind and get to experience the Authentic Indian Ashram life. What an inspiring person and such an amazing place.
It's a great privilege to meet such a person. Please do visit and contribute to the noble cause.
I have just returned from the most amazing experience of my life.
Everything about Anahata is very very special. The founder Kiran works tirelessly designing, building and evolving his incredible project, a beautiful oasis of natural peace in rural India, this project exists to offer local disadvantaged, disabled and mentally challenged people a chance to heal, a chance to live in perfect harmony with an organic vegetarian diet mainly sourced onsite. Some come on a daily basis, some stay onsite. Yoga is a big part of life here, whether like me a first time beginner to the most advanced, all set in the most amazing natural space, and hosted by the talented yoga master Kiran.
I honestly believe this to be one of the most beautiful, magical and spiritual places on earth, all the people i met here at Anahata seem very happy, from the gardeners, builders, cook etc and all work together in pure harmony. there is no set timetable to adhere to, do what you like when you like, interaction with the children is wonderful and taught me so much.
I do not have one bad or negative thing to say about Anahata or Kiran (inspirational), if you are fortunate to be able to visit you will be dumbfounded by its natural beauty, and by the life and love it exudes.
I feel honoured and extremely privileged to have been able to visit and to become a part of the Anahata family, I hope to return soon.
Dear Kiran, thank you for everything, it was perfect.
Soul enlightening experiences! A must visit!
The Anahatha Healing Center is a beautiful and nurturing space to be. Connecting with the vibration nature, the Intension of the community and especially being with the “special abled children” was very inspirering and openening for me. A great place for learning, healing and growing on many levels
