At Blue Bird Day (Wheaton) our little boy has made tremendous progress! He has been more than a year at BBD, and he has been always treated with love, patience and care. We want to give special thanks to the Wheaton Branch director, Dr. Jennifer King and his therapists that go above and beyond making sure he is doing great and he makes progress: Ms. Colleen and her team (when he was in preschool). Infinite thanks to Ms. Jasmin (my son and I used to love his therapy sessions) and Ms. Hannah who was very supportive of my son and I in very challenging moments (unfortunately she is not there anymore). Infinite thanks to Ms. Bridget, she was the best BCBA therapist that my son has had (unfortunately she is not there anymore). Infinite thanks to Ms. Montse (she has been very supportive of my son's progress and she is my son's best friend :) ). Infinite thanks to Ms. LaShay who has been very understanding, supportive and patient with us :) ! Infinite thanks to Kristi who has been always there for us with a smile and a warm heart even if we are going through many challenging situations. Thanks to all of you for your love and patience with us, and for making sure my son receives all his therapists so he can become an independent person.

Where do I start? Blue Bird West Loop has been a FUNDAMENTAL part of my daughters ASD journey. She has become more social, more interactive, and expressive then ever! They are patient and gentle with her and she is always happy to get to school (an amazing sign when your kid is non-verbal). Katie S. has been amazing leading her pod and keeping goals and communications flowing/focused, Pooja, Ariana, Shaina, Payton, Erin, Danny and Asucena have been a dream team to work with! They are all dedicated to their work and invested in the advancement of the kids they care for. My daughgter is well supported, feels safe, happy, and is able to learn with the environment they've created! Kudos Blue Bird fam!

I had the opportunity to interact with Kristi. I believe she's the receptionist or assistant. Whatever her title is, it should start with Amazing. It is very hard to find great customer service and she did it well. I know I was a little difficult but she didn't treat me as such, she was flexible and ready to answer all of my questions with extreme poise and professionalism. She is truly a gem! Anyone is lucky to have her on their team.

Our experience with BBD was professional and heartwarming as the parents and grandparents of a student. My granddaughter is nonverbal and was not walking at 4 years old when she started. The staff worked with her and her medical issues and she left walking. There were tears on her last day because we will miss the care they provided my granddaughter and us. My granddaughter is moving to a full day special needs school which is best for her and her mom in the big picture. We give BBD the highest recommendation possible. Thank you.

This school has really made a difference in my son's life! He walked in barely saying a few words, and a year later, he is speaking sentences. We really love our speech therapist, jennifer quinones. All therapists and helpers are amazing here! But our favorite is Alisa Cipriano! When a therapist communicates so closely with the family ensuring your child the best, they become family and she has become family to us! Alisa is the best at what she does and always with warmth. I highly recommend BlueBird!

It’s hard to know where to start with Blue Bird Day because they just have gone the extra mile in every aspect for my daughter who has Rett Syndrome. I’m always blown away by their dedication and commitment to helping my daughter get the necessary help and support that she needs. I have a soft spot for Gemma, who works on meaningful play activities with my daughter. I equally love Grace & Allie who are supporting her feeding therapy and communication needs. Both Grace & Allie continue to go the extra mile for my daughter. And Brooke & Ashley Smith have strengthened her gross motor skills in ways I never thought were possible. I’m sure I’m missing someone. Everyone there deserves infinite spa packages and trips to Hawaii. ♥️
