Bluebird Day has been a tremendous help for our son ! After several failed attempts else where friend of ours recommended Bluebird and the rest was story 3 years in now. Rigorous individual curriculum tailored to the needs of your kid. We definitely have a mixed feeling although we are very confident now around the transitioning our son out but we are going to miss the structure, overall culture , professionalism and the caring/patience staffs and administrators.

I found Blue Bird in the most unconventional way, but it ended up being exactly what our family needed. At the time, I was driving my undiagnosed 2 1/2 year old child back and forth to private OT and speech therapy appointments in Oak Park 2X a week during the day, all while trying to manage my own full-time job. It was exhausting, overwhelming, and honestly frustrating trying to piece together the right support for my child.
Then, almost out of nowhere, I was served a Facebook ad about Blue Bird and the services they provide. It sounded too good to be true. Fast forward to our walkthrough meeting, and from the very beginning, I knew we had found something special. Cindy, the receptionist, along with the entire staff, immediately made us feel welcomed, supported, and understood.
Since starting at Blue Bird, my son has truly blossomed into himself. The team has provided me not only with incredible care for my child, but also with ongoing support, information, and guidance as a parent learning how to best support my neurodivergent child. Blue Bird has checked every box â offering stability, stimulation, and structure, all delivered with patience, compassion, and dedication from some truly amazing staff members.
A special shout-out to Ms. Isa, who bonded so quickly with my son and made drop-offs an absolute ease and breeze. To the speech therapists â Ms. Cassie, Grace, and Ellen â who have taught me so much about my little gestalt language processor, his interests, and his motivations. And to his PT and OT specialist who have helped him accomplish so many new physical milestones we once only hoped for.
I may have found Blue Bird in an unconventional way, but it was exactly what our family needed. We are forever grateful for the care, support, and growth theyâve given our son.

I had the opportunity to interact with Kristi. I believe she's the receptionist or assistant. Whatever her title is, it should start with Amazing. It is very hard to find great customer service and she did it well. I know I was a little difficult but she didn't treat me as such, she was flexible and ready to answer all of my questions with extreme poise and professionalism. She is truly a gem!
