This was our first time dining at Tequila's Mexican Grill and it definitely won’t be our last! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were on point, and the customer service was terrific 👍🏾. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in.
If you’re looking for great flavors, great drinks, and a great experience, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend this New Mexican restaurant in town. Food was great and the service was also top of the line. This was my first time going there with my family and had an amazing experience. Everyone was very attentive and the server always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Please visit them next time you’re feeling like having some Mexican food 🤤

Main waiting staff was great! Food was great! However, they were not old enough to serve shots at the bar. The owner's daughter had to come off her throne to serve a couple of bar customers and never even spoke to us. Went out of her way to ignore us. Shots were great and that's why im still giving 5 stars but for a location that recently changed ownership, you could be a little more hospitable to customers paying for top shelf liquor.

My boyfriend and I had Kelly A as our server, she was very sweet, she checked on us numerous times throughout our meal. We had 2 margaritas, the chorizo queso appetizer, and each a chimichanga dinner meal, everything was great and when we were getting ready to leave she brought us chips and salsa to go with our boxes! She was so thoughtful and efficient. If we lived here this would be a regular place for us to come. The food, music, and service was some of the best we’ve had in a while. Also we got to take our drink outside to decompress a bit and the outdoor seating was very comfortable! Thank you for a wonderful experience! would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are a mexican food lover!

If you know your Tex-Mex, this is the best so far in SWVA. We lived in five different cities in Texas and have been on a quest to find good Tex-Mex since moving to this lovely area. We found the service friendly, the restaurant clean and the food as close as you can get to true Tex-Mex. I gave the food four stars only because the salsa needs to be a little chunkier with a little boost of tomatoes and spices, but you won't be disappointed in the entrées! A hidden gem in Roanoke!
