Temp Control Heating and Air is one stop shopping! Shai the owner will personally come out and give you an estimate on what needs to be done. He doesnt try to upsell you. He explains everything to you, even when you dont understand. I have used Temp Control twice. Once for a repair on our 2 family home, and once to install new CAC in our 1 family home. I have no complaints. You will not be disappointed.

I’m going to give them 5 stars because this winter, I woke up in the morning and my house was like a fridge! My google nest broke in the middle of the night. The temperature were in the negative outside. My 18 month baby was sleeping in her room and when I went to pick her up from her bed, her room was 65F. She was ok but I called them right away and ask them to come asap explaining the situation with my daugther. They came 15 min later. I was probably still in pyjama lol. I was so thankful that they were able to pu back the heat in the house. When this kind of stuff happens while having a baby at home, it’s scary.

The owner of Temp Control Shai is hard working, shows up when he is supposed to, and very reasonable. I first met Shai when we had our outdoor kitchen done. In addition to being an HVAC mechanic he is licensed to run gas lines and water lines. He did a tremendous job running supply lines to our outdoor natural gas BBQ and sink which were trenched underground. We now use him to service our HVAC. Before the first winter he contacted me and offered to come and show me how to winterize the outdoor kitchen. No charge. Three years later there was a small leak at the shutoff for the outdoor kitchen sink. I called him on a Friday and he was at our house the next day. Only charged for the part which was $28. You won’t find many, if any, companies that will do that. He takes a-lot of pride in his work. He treats you like family.
2/13/2026- Seems like Google does not allow for multiple reviews. So I’m going to edit a previous review. Last week our furnace stopped working. It was around midnight so we made do until the morning. I contacted.Shai around 8 am. and sent him a video of what was happening. He was able to diagnose just by seeing the video and was at our house within a couple of hours. I have used Temp control a few times now for different services that he offers. His response time is second to none. Shai is one of the most fair and honest people as well as a business owner that I have ever met. Do yourself a favor by picking up your phone and calling Temp Control, I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Temp Control installed our new furnace and A/C units. Our old units were 49 years old and inefficient. Not only are the new units energy efficient but they're quieter too. Great job guys!

I had an emergency on Super Bowl Sunday where my furnace would not run for more than 2 minutes. I called the number and Shai responded promptly. He was very polite and professional. The pricing was more than reasonable and I will 100% use again if I have any HVAC issues. Would highly recommend.

This is undoubtedly one of the coldest winters we have seen in a long time. Naturally, our heat decided to konk out when it felt like -5 degrees outside. I called Temp Control first thing this morning. I immediately was greeted with a friendly helpful representative. I was already preparing myself for the possibility of having to wait a few days until someone can assess our problem. I was also fully expecting pay whatever fees Temp Control would dictate, as having a heated home for our family is essential. Over the phone, Shai reassured me and told me that this issue may not necessitate a home visit. Instead, he walked me through the process, and guided me every step of the way. He taught me how to resolve the issue, in full detail! Shai's honesty, and good nature blew me away. Not to mention words cannot describe how accomplished I feel knowing that I was actually able to climb into my attic and doctor our heating system back to life! Shai saved our heating system and our wallet! Thank you so much again for your honesty and incredibly personable approach!

After so many failed attempts with other installers, Temp Control Heating & Air Conditioner finally got us set up with a working Wi-Fi thermostat and I honestly can’t recommend them enough.
Sarah, who answered the phone, was amazing right from the start! Super responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She made scheduling easy and was reassuring throughout the whole process, which honestly mattered a lot after everything we’d been through.
Shai, the owner, was knowledgeable and professional, and took the time to understand our situation instead of rushing a solution.
Javier, the installer, was fantastic and patient, thorough, and clearly very skilled. He properly rewired our boiler setup and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. No shortcuts, no guesswork.
After multiple frustrating attempts with others, it was such a relief to finally work with a team that truly knows what they’re doing. Shai was amazing and extremely helpful. My heat had been out for 2 days and I wasn’t able to get anyone here to solve the issue. It is also the coldest it’s been in NJ for a very long time. I reached out to Shai, explained my situation and he immediately got on a phone call with me to help me. His advice and guidance worked and now I have heat. He was so helpful and genuine. I have to give a recommendation to anyone in need of HVAC assistance. Day of the snow storm I woke up to a sick kid and no heat. Temp Control Air Conditioning & Heating was recommended by a friend. Called pleading for help and the owner was at my house within the hour while snow was still coming down. With no BS had the heat working within 20 mins. I never leave reviews but when Credit is due I must give it.

Shai did our furnace install 13 years ago (still going very strong, we haven’t had any issue with it since), so we called them a few years ago when our very old central air unit failed, their team came out, for just the service fee, they repaired it and gave it another few years. We really do appreciate that at the time since money was tight. Since then he and his team handled a/c and 2 other furnace replacements for us. They take a lot of pictures and document properly, and the work is top notch. They also leave the place cleaner than they found it.
As much as I like the work they’ve done for us, I still always compare pricing, Shai consistently comes in as the fair and reasonable one. These major replacements are tough on our budget, but Temp Control really did take some of the sting out of it. And knowing their work last decades, he also truly stand by his work, that really brings me peace of mind. We would not hesitate to recommend them.
Ah, almost forgot, they were also the only team that was able to rush out to us next day on Christmas Eve, very grateful for that.

Unbelievable service at a very fair price...Shai and his team provided a quote which was 20% less than their nearest competitor and their service was simply perfect. They arrived on time, completed the installation of a 2 zone mini-split system within 4 hours, clean up the area on their hands and knees and then submitted the registrations for me. They even provided information for the electric company & federal rebates. I wish I knew about them 20 years ago...I could have save a lot of heartache and money!

Could not recommend Shai and his team enough!! This is not something that he does on a regular basis, but he came as soon as I called him late last night. We had a leak from our shower upstairs going into our laundry room. I called Shai and without hesitation he said I am on my way home I will be right over. This is the kind of service he extends to his customers 24/7. He diagnosed the problem and this morning he and his team of 4 trucks were here fixing it without question. They saved our master bathroom from a huge leak and our laundry room from an even bigger flood. Thank you Shai for not only fixing our leak but treating us like family always. So easy to work with, honest, and reliable: something you don’t come across anymore. But with temp control you get all of the above!! I can’t recommend you and your company enough!! Thank you Shai again!!
