I met Mark in March of last year while visiting his gym. I was thoroughly impressed with this concept of working out. I have 2 torn rotator cuffs, been though a back and neck surgery. I also have torn ligaments in my right wrist. He put me through a 30 minute demonstration and I experienced no pain or strain. It is completely a de-compressive workout. Due to time constraints and yes, I'm lazy, I put off joining until December 19th.
I am entering my 14th and absolutely love to workout. I actually look forward to each session. I usually dread dragging my butt to the gym. I have a much greater range of motion, less aches and pains in the morning and have experienced zero joint/muscle problems I typically have after starting a new fitness program.

Thorough Physical Workout. The basic designed physical workout done 3 times a seek has given mee more strength and flexibility. I played hockey for over 40 years which did a number on my body. Mark also supplements the basics with additional exercises aimed at helping to ease problems I’ve had after a hip replacement. He is very interactive and my observations and conversations with other people here shows that they are also very satisfied with their experience.
Awesome place to work out, next level science !! I am a Marine Corps veteran and have been working out with the vertical movement system for over two years. At 47 years old I’m in the best shape of my life! There are tremendous benefits for my mental health as well, specifically anxiety depression and other symptoms of PTSD. If I missed two weeks I can certainly tell, this is an Intercal part of my whole health and wellness. I can’t recommend this modality any higher 10 stars...give it a try it, it works on so many levels and will make you a better person no matter what it is you do. Try it!! 💪
This is a workout like you have never seen. In only a half hour I couldn’t believe how intense it was…seems like it will be so easy! I had to take a nap later because I was so drained. If you are looking for a no impact, efficient, full body workout, this is it!!

Love the term Functional Aging! Mark is wonderful at explaining the process (& it’s great for all ages), I visited the gym 3 days a week for 24 min per visit)… and after a couple of weeks I couldn’t believe how this workout took away my low back/hip pain when laying down. So happy to have found this Functional Aging ( Mark’s studio/gym “Vertical Fitness”) Try it, you won’t be sorry.
I’ve really enjoyed working out at this facility. Mark and his trainers have been great at helping me overcome some challenges and getting me closer to my fitness goal. The facility and equipment is top notch and everyone there is friendly and encouraging! I would recommend anyone regardless of your fitness or health circumstances to come here before you go to ANY big box gym cause you’ll probably gain more here than you ever would at any of those places!
Endless good things to say about Team Vertical Fitness! To start, I have a medical condition that eliminates most of the ways I previously exercised, but Team Vertical Fitness is geared towards all people, including those who have pain, vertigo, MS, injuries and more. Because Team Vertical Fitness is so inclusive, I am able to go get a full body workout without triggering my condition. Mark, the owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and consistently checked in with me throughout my workout to make sure that I was feeling okay. Team vertical fitness is a completely unique way of working out that uses your whole body, without causing damage. Highly recommend!!
This is a great program! You can feel all aspects of this full body workout. The equipment and program are adaptable to people of all sizes and fitness levels. They fine tuned their program to meet my specific needs and goals. I have been attending for about 6 weeks and I am seeing gains in flexibility, strength and cardio fitness (all goals for me).
Mark, the coach and proprietor, is a welcome, welcoming and attentive presence. He is available, educational and encouraging without being overbearing. He strikes a great balance between expert coach, motivator and the guy cracking the whip over the rowers from the back of the Viking ship! I generally hate working out but I love Vertical Fitness.
This is an amazing place and way to exercise! I look forward to it every time and get a full body workout. It's safe, does not irritate my problem shoulder or knee, is challenging, and offers much room for growth. I have been working out and going to a gym for almost 30 years. The immediate results from this program are stunning. As a 53 year old male, I've been happily surprised by this. I believe it's more than just doing something different. With the concentrated movements, I get more done in less time and the impact stays with my body longer. Incredible!

Team Vertical has truly been a life saver both physically and mentally. Im an occupational therapist that specializes in orthopedic upper extremity rehabilitation and I was first skeptical of global neuromuscular activation technology. I was a collegiate runner and over the years my joints have taken a beating so when Mark first introduced this concept of getting stronger and healthier by decompressing the joints I thought I would give it a try. After 2 months of working out with Mark at Team Vertical I can honestly say the 12 movement patterns are more effective than conventional techniques and I’m getting so much stronger, and gaining better balance without having pain in my joints. Mark is an effective listener and is familiar with targeting muscles and maximizing an excellent outcome by using proper technique. Team vertical provided me with one of the greatest workouts to date. I am always looking for new ways to be active and this program did not disappoint! Mark was so knowledgeable and was so attentive to ensure great form during the full workout. The facility was spotless and the entire staff was so friendly.
