Kazakhstan is one of the most beautiful country in the world. One can come here in different seasons to enjoy different shades of the country’s at the same time one can enjoy bright sun, cool breeze, snow. Visited beautiful location like Kaindy lake which is one of marvel..never seen similar location anywhere before.
Our family returned last year from an unforgettable trip through Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, and it exceeded every expectation. We travelled as a family with our two children, aged 7 and 10, and throughout the journey we felt extremely safe, welcomed, and comfortable.
What truly stood out was the natural beauty of both countries. The landscapes are absolutely stunning — from dramatic mountain ranges and wide open valleys to crystal-clear alpine lakes that genuinely look untouched. Some of the lakes and scenic drives were among the most beautiful we have seen anywhere in the world. The contrast between snow-capped peaks, green meadows, canyons, and turquoise water made every day feel different and memorable.
The people were warm and hospitable, especially towards children. Our kids loved the experience — whether it was horse riding, exploring nature, trying local food, or simply enjoying the outdoor spaces. It felt like a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation for a family trip.
A very special mention goes to our guide, Maxat, who was truly exceptional throughout the journey. His hospitality, organization, professionalism, and constant focus on safety made a huge difference to our overall experience. Traveling with young children can sometimes be unpredictable, but Maxat handled everything smoothly and always made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. His local knowledge, calm nature, and attention to detail helped make the trip seamless and stress-free.
Another pleasant surprise was how uncrowded many places felt compared to more commercial tourist destinations. We could really take in the scenery peacefully without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The roads, guides, and overall tourism infrastructure were also super.
For families considering something different from the usual Europe or Southeast Asia itinerary, we would highly recommend both Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. They offer breathtaking scenery, genuine hospitality, incredible lakes and mountains, and a sense of discovery that is becoming rare in travel today.
It was a truly special experience for our family and one we will remember for a very long time.
